You can actually get rid of all Reapers with this technique. They don't respawn, you just need to do that 22 times and you will never have to deal with them again!
Its easier to just use the stasis rifle and then barrage them with gasped torpedoes, u can also swim inside and drop a million of them on the reaper. Works every time
I saw everything of the safe shallows but no reaper. Last time i was as a wreck in the dunes a reaper seemed to follow me and was stuck there at the corner of the safe shallows, Algae and dunes. Weird thing in addition was that this beast came closer everytime i got there (i trained how to kill a leviathan eith him lol) and fibally got him down. In the safe shallows. Like 100m close to my base. Yokes
Fun fact:the reaper is blind,he roars to see if the sound bounces of anything to know where he is and to find prey,thats why he roaring means he found you,if you can hear him then so can he.
Not completely blind, but their sight is limited. Still, the water where Reapers hunt is often cloudy, for poor visibility; so echo location is very helpful.

@@Voided-Norm But the drill arm has a better hit rate and wider target area. So it's easier to hit with generally, and when you're grabbed by a reaper you can build up damage more rapidly.
Eh the drill actually does less damage than the punch. The drill just locks on easier but that doesn’t matter much for the repair since it grab attacks you
@@plugshirt1762 The attack rate of the drill is also faster than the claw. When the reaper grabs you hitting is pretty much automatic, so the drill builds up damage faster.

Okay but honestly this is so fun to do. It's like facing your fears while also getting a tense battle where every now and then you have to get out and repair your suit, which adds the fear back.
Prime example of what happens when the doom music kicks in. If "The only thing they fear is you" was playing in the background it would have been even more epic than it already was.

Okay but honestly this is so fun to do. It's like facing your fears while also getting a tense battle where every now and then you have to get out and repair your suit, which adds the fear back.
Prime example of what happens when the doom music kicks in.
