Rudi this is completely awesome in every way but the waterfall is the gorgeous icing on the cake. I wish I could spend a day enjoying the wolves as they explore this wonderful habitat. Great job!
First of all!!....i can imagine the theme becommes a bit repetative for you!....but with you building the habitats in any theme is never been boring to watch!!...but if you ask me...sure...use other themes aswell in your zoo!....keep it up mr rudi!
Another magnificent habitat! Wolves must be so happy to live here! The waterfall is very beautiful and the house with its balconies is very beautiful too. But my favorite place is this central rock, with these delicate flowers ... there is something mystical about this place.
The bridge scene leading up to the viewing area is amazing! Great viewpoints. As someone who has been to Yosemite and surrounding parks, this recreation is spot-on!
These habitat looks soo good. It is verry big but I think it fits perfectly for the wolfs, and I love these Place where the wolfs may lie and the people can watch them!!
Great work as always, I'm really loving the feel thematically. My favorite part I'd say would be that end shot, simply amazing. As far as themed areas, personally I think doing themed areas maybe as sections makes the most sense. A panda with the regional foliage would feel off. So maybe doing a wall/gated section of Asia or Africa and immersing the guests would be coolest. Obviously the external foliage and terrain would remain, but it would add to the immersion feeling like you took a trip
As often as you use the mist makers, i am surprised you didn't add it to that waterfall. Falling that distance, it would definitely make a mist. I would suggest near the top where you have that rock face and slightly to the sides so it doesn't block the central view of it.
I think you should do regional themes. Most modern zoos are making themed areas to showcase the environment the animals are native to. One of my favorites is the Columbus, Ohio zoo that has really nice Africa and Asia themed areas. There is a UA-cam channel called Zoo Tours that gives you some great tours and explanations of really good American zoos including Columbus.
yay a new video! Hey Rudi, what do you think of a "waterfall go through"? Maybe for the people but also for animals in a habitat... This could be a thing for a more tropical or koali styled zoo but anyways... would like to see that one day... :D
really like the style of the house, mostly the rocks as fundation. maybe build a fireplace, those fireplace form africa an the torch from artic team, combine makes a awesome fireplace with sparks from the coal. then you just do what you are best at, an cover it up with stuff ;)
If you're looking for a cool themed elephant area I recommend looking at the one in Dublin Zoo. It's got an adventure path style where you see the elephants at different points but you're also sometimes just surrounded by tropical plants and flowing water. Really makes you feel like you're seeing the elephants naturally.
my god you are so good at creating realistic looking mountains. Mine always end up looking like they have been attacked by meteorites XD tried making those waterfalls as well, but big ones as you made are definitely hated by my pc XD
I love this habitat! I'd have to say my favourite natural part of the zoo would be the grizzly area. Adding a bit more theming sounds good, but I think at least in terms of foliage and rocks, you should keep the yosemite feel.
The building that you just made have it be a converted game warden house to Tiber wolves education building. To make windows seem like they were functional add a staircase to a blind corner making it look like it goes up to a living space.
It is the waterfall and the building it like you want to visit the zoo. I cheat with my waterfalls I put the water on to stones at moment as the water sticks out and you can see the black bits.
How did you get this map because I’m planning on doing a north western American zoo but I’m not the best with retraining so I want some terrain to get me going
First: Fantastic habitat. It's unreal what you can think of and do. Really great job. And second: Look at this zoo. It's all about the African theme. I hope you find some inspiration there. safaripark.cz/en/
That waterfall feels wrong to me. Like, it's falling down where the cliff juts out? Realistically, wouldn't it carve into the mountain, creating an indent?
My favorite African area in a zoo is in Columbus Zoo- the Heart of Africa. Here’s a link to a video about it: m.ua-cam.com/video/Kv-toi3Dp_o/v-deo.html
That waterfall is spectacular and is a landmark addition to the zoo. Really brings it to life.
Thanks!
Rudi this is completely awesome in every way but the waterfall is the gorgeous icing on the cake. I wish I could spend a day enjoying the wolves as they explore this wonderful habitat. Great job!
Thanks
I just realised I'm watching this and Koali back to back instead of being productive lol. Atleast I'm enjoying myself.
haha but very good choice however ;)
I love how you used the jets for the waterfall instead of the actual water fall effects. It looks so much better!
it looks great, right?
First of all!!....i can imagine the theme becommes a bit repetative for you!....but with you building the habitats in any theme is never been boring to watch!!...but if you ask me...sure...use other themes aswell in your zoo!....keep it up mr rudi!
I really liked that you think about where you want the guest to look with all the viewing points. This is very pretty.
Oh lord there waterfall is epic.
Holy cow you always blow my mind with your builds and all the details you are able to make.
Another magnificent habitat! Wolves must be so happy to live here! The waterfall is very beautiful and the house with its balconies is very beautiful too. But my favorite place is this central rock, with these delicate flowers ... there is something mystical about this place.
Ha yes I do love the rock as well:) was a pain make but worth it
The rock work in this habitat is just perfect! That big chill area build out of rocks... Wow, beautiful! So happy I've voted for timber wolf!
:) thanks !
You always great the best views! So much thought goes into where you want the guests to look and how to get them to look the way you want!
Stunning build. I love it all but really like the rock formation for the wolves to chill on
The bridge scene leading up to the viewing area is amazing! Great viewpoints. As someone who has been to Yosemite and surrounding parks, this recreation is spot-on!
:) thanks !
These habitat looks soo good. It is verry big but I think it fits perfectly for the wolfs, and I love these Place where the wolfs may lie and the people can watch them!!
I can't choose a favorite part. Your whole Yosemite build is fantastic!
Thanks!

Yeah that's for sure. No weird foliage
The wolf habitat really is amazing Rudi!!!! I think it might be one of my favourite ones so far
Oh cool! Yeah I like it a lot too :)
It's really beautiful ! And the wolfes look really like they're in plein nature :D The waterfall is very well done too
Yeah the disappearing water fall of Rudi town haha
It was cool seeing the Matterhorn-esque mountain through the eave
The whole zoo is great, but I’m partial to the half dome as well as the beautiful sequoia trees you built! Though the waterfall is lovely too!
:)

Naturewise I like the area with the giant sequoias best :)

I'm looking forward to watching this build in a bit, when I got the time!
The central rock is definitely my fav!! Though love it all!
Nice !

I love this area. It's so perfect fitting together. The bear area is also awesome 🐻😍
Edit: the waterfall is sooo beautiful, I love it so much❤️❤️
:) thanks and yeah I guess it was worth it

I'll have a look into that :)
This is a beautiful build once again, but i do still love the bison habitat.
my god you are so good at creating realistic looking mountains. Mine always end up looking like they have been attacked by meteorites XD tried making those waterfalls as well, but big ones as you made are definitely hated by my pc XD
Yay another vid. BTW I used to be bear flint if u remember me from your other videos
Ah why changed this ?
Rudi Rennkamel idk I didn’t really like the other one
A mi lo que me gusta de Yosemite Zoo es lo orgánico que parece todo, como se adapta el zoo al terreno.
This waterfall is better than mine 👍
My fav natural part is the bison area 😊
:)
very Beautiful
I love it all! ♥♥♥
Thanks

oooooh...I know I wanted an elephant house but this was my second choice
Same
Elephant next!
Rudi Rennkamel yay!
:)
You are so so talented, did you make this terrain map? I’m so bored of playing franchise and sandbox on flat maps.
Yes I made that myself :) check episode 1 of Yosemite valley there you'll see the making
Did you upload the map it’self to the workshop?x x
Jep
You the best
Can u do a video for making backstage areas and how to decorate them ?
i love every moment of your zoo but I like the bear 🐻 habitat
Ha! Really good
How did you get this map because I’m planning on doing a north western American zoo but I’m not the best with retraining so I want some terrain to get me going
I really think that you should keep the theme of yosemite valley in the rest zoo
First: Fantastic habitat. It's unreal what you can think of and do. Really great job.
And second: Look at this zoo. It's all about the African theme. I hope you find some inspiration there.

I was hoping for the elephants but can you still do the elephants plz
they will come very soon!
That waterfall feels wrong to me. Like, it's falling down where the cliff juts out? Realistically, wouldn't it carve into the mountain, creating an indent?
Well realistically you are right but it's quite hard to do because I needed to hide a lot of VFX :/
@@RudiRennkamel now that they are hidden, you could make the surrounding to "come out" so it looks like the waterfall carved the mountain
Be brave-put more greenery! :D ;)
The theme of the video seems to have been 'decent,' well if decent is all you have time for then i suppose i wont complain. 😜
Hey ! I think it's great hahah
OMG, 302 Likes and only 2 Disslikes very good
