TXT has stated in interviews that they're trying to tackle the struggles of growing up that gen Z is facing specifically, though a lot of their music is relatable to other generations as well (because some growing pains never really change). A lot of their music has to do with youth and how it either thrives or struggles in various environments. That probably sounds familiar for you as BTS fans, but TXT handles the same material differently, so it's not just a "different" or "younger" BTS. TXT definitely stands on their own.

TXT indeed has their storyline and concept and they have my one of the fav concept the concept of growing up
1) crown (debut) was like teenager and fresh vibe cute and innocent (as txt were teenager themselves too at that time)
2) run away ( school theme) at the same time the realization of growing up and pain
3) can't you see me ( dark theme) it tackles the betray, promises...,.
4) blue hour ( it might seems happy song but it isn't) its a song where they want to stay young forever as innocent child , they don't want to grow up gradually, but at the same time welcoming their youth ~ you can see the opening and ending of this song is sad so the between song is just their imagination
5) love song : it's finally tackling the more reality of young people facing nowadays and they finally growed up
6) loser lover : it's the continuation of love song it tackles more reality through their mvs..
( although txt concept are of growing up but at the same time their story line so much unique )

This is honestly soooo cool! Like I said in the ending, I think it is so beautiful that BigHit artists are able to do this because as I said, their experiences are going to be so different from the gen above them and the gens below them. We all have way different experiences of growing pains

@@ChantelleSistersAndCo Also for txts storyline, it is portrayed in MVs specifically labelled as the tu or now "The Starseekers" and then you can see hints or themes from the storyline in the title track lyrics and their other mvs. TXT is a highly conceptualised group, to the point where even their albums are titled like its a book or a movie, with chapters and interludes/minisodes.
Thank you for reacting to TXT. The two songs are of opposite genres and yet they pulled these off in such a short time in their career. Most times they’re underrated and avoided but when there’s no prejudice at the back of your mind, it’s easy to like their content. TXT are funny and witty. Talented like the others since talent is the standard in kpop anyway but the fact that they can pull different concepts without looking forced speak volumes. Also, I think the lack of heavy makeup in their faces boosted their features more so you can easily see the difference in their faces even if their complexion are all fair.
It's crazy to me because you think of western artists and when you hear their song you're like "oh this is a bruno mars vibe" or "this is a j biebs vibe" but I cannot say that about TXT, they are so diverse! Just as John said in the video, it's hard to believe this was the same group!!!
@@ChantelleSistersAndCo I don't know many have said the same thing for BTS. BTS just likes to explore music and they have so many genre's they r great at. With TXT i hear that they were searching for their sound and they might have found it. Shrugs.
I hope you watch more TXT. They deserve more love.

I think why Ambrose said the comment is because compared to BTS (dont come for me btw) there's no assigned roles. so yeah, while we know 3J for BTS, TXT is known for like having 5 amazing dancers. so I dont think anyone should really be that triggered it just what it is. BTS are obviously more experienced in performance with their experience.

BTS is technically not 3J anymore but 3J + V , since hes also confirmed to be part of the dance line
@@dansl3if of course, but people still refer to the trio as 3J. I would have said "dance line" if I wanted to but I specifically said 3J. Besides that, 3J did the butter dance together and a lot of subunit dances together. That's why I specifically said them. I naturally said 3J since we've seen more dancing from them. Its hard to explain but yeah.
Yea TXT in general are really tall😭 I believe the tallest is sobbin and he’s around 6’2/6’3 and then it’s huening Kai at around 6’1/6’2 then yeonjun at around 6’0 I believe then taehyun and beomgyu are around the same height 5’11 ish, Hope that helps!!✨💕

I think why TXT looks better at dancing than BTS now, bcs TXT is a new group and they are still in their young age like 19 to 22 so the energy they have is more powerful. As for BTS, they are a group that has been in the industry for almost 9 years. It's not a short amount of time to expending the energy for 9 years singing and dancing, and now that they are 24 to 30 with so many schedule that they have I think that makes sense, because your body doesn't always stay the same as you get older. But if you compare with BTS's old stuff, surely they look as powerful as TXT now
I also think that not all BTS members are dancers and that's okay. They are good at dancing, of course, but TXT's whole group is like a dance line. Meaning that all members are dancers and specially good at it, meanwhile BTS has members specially good at it. It does not mean something negative. Every group is different ♡
Txt are amazing dancers, and according to computer analysis they are the 2nd most synchronised group
I honestly think that both BTS and TXT are great dancers. There’s really no comparing. Like i don’t understand why people always try to compare kpop groups with BTS. Why can’t u just appreciate instead of doing that? Not trying to hate or sound rude, i just want to know.

I think it's more he noticed the comparison of the generations because they are younger we noticed the skill gets better and better. However, I think because he has only seen BTS from my videos and not other male kpop groups he sees the difference in the generation. Like ppl are debuting at 14 being crazy dancers than years prior
Because BTS is the Standard, BTS is the biggest, and they're trying to invalidate them by making BTS look like they're nothing but just worldwide popular group.
See, when you're the blueprint, people will try so hard to look for the things that wil make you look like you're not better than any other group, older or newer. But you know what, they always fail, because BTS is just incomparable and indestructible. They're the most diverse group I've ever seen. You can't be just popular because of your charm and talent, you have to have what BTS has, no wonder why other groups can't be on the same level as BTS.
I agree. Saying "I think the younger generation they trained very hard because it's like a blood bath" and not saying BTS trained hard with little budget and not under the best conditions, does not help anyone build appreciation for BTS. Make sure you appreciate both groups' good points

Huening kais dad is actually German by heritage but lives in the states. His younger sister debuted 2 months ago and his older sisters group unfortunately disbanded not long before his debut.

What I’ll say about the comparison comment is that txt seems more in sync because they’re a newer group, which seems backwards but when you look into kpop training, it makes sense. If you watch newly debuted BTS performances and choreographies, they move as one body because that’s what they had to do to make it. Txt also had the leverage of being a 4th gen boy group under hybe, but they still have to have that almost robotic unity to avoid disbandment and issues with the gp. Txt just made 3 years and bts will be 9 years in June.. it’s not really a comparison of skill set, but more of experience and comfortability. Bts has had time to sink into their individuality and no longer need that one body/one mind outlook. That’s not to say that BTS aren’t in sync anymore, but they have wiggle room to add more texture to their stages than txt does rn. Both groups are amazing performers and in terms of dancers, txt debuted with more trained dancers than BTS did, although BTS are now all trained dancers.
And it’s definitely a newer wave of aces in 4th gen kpop.. a lot of groups are debuting with no official roles and most groups are way more stacked than those of the previous generations.
So yeah, I understand Ambrose’s comment, but I think it’s unfair to say they are better or worse than bts. They’re two different groups with vastly different story lines, choreographies, and discographies.
This is a great comment, I was trying so hard to figure out how to explain to other fans, who were really upset about Ambrose's comment, how I understood his opinion but I couldn't. THIS is it. I agree, it wasn't fair. He also is new to both groups and he saw it for how he sees it right? Another comment on the subject that I really liked is instead of saying "better than the other", it might have been more acceptable to say that he prefers the dancing of one group over the other. I had no idea this was an issue and it was totally my bad for not rebuttling his comment and initially using his comment as a thumbnail (I had to change it because I didn't want ppl to attack my guest). Also someone mentioned how BTS had the 3J as a main component while TXT are all 5 seasoned dancers even prior to debuting? Is that true?

Not everybody is gonna favor BTS. I do think the comment was a little premature, but most comments are Bc you learn as you go. I definitely have no hard feelings and I look forward to seeing him get into txt more! And you’re definitely fine😭 you handled the situation well! There was really no need to make it a big thing. Obviously, you'll get to know the member's voices more as you listen to more music (especially live without the processing etc. on the recording) - but another way to get more familiar with their voices individually would be to watch their individual covers:
- Yeonjun: Song Cry
- Hueningkai: Youngblood + Sk8ter Boy
- Beomgyu: Wonder
- Taehyun: Let Me + Over and Over Again
- Soobin has not done any solo covers yet (moa's are waiting!) but when he was mc music bank he did five mini-performances with his co-host Arin which could give you insight into his voice more.

Yes they're all pretty tall and great dancers! Yeonjun is the oldest and trained the longest and is known for his dancing and i agree there is something about him. He's my favorite too, but all of them are likeable and talented. I'm also an army and fell in love with their music and performances. I love your reactions. Please react to more. I highly recommend frost special performance and the MV. Yeonjun also has a solo aotm on studio choom. Please check it out. I also recommend watching loser lover mv which fits with the love song theme and their office performance video of it. Enhypen is not from bighit but belift. they share similar producers but not the same agency. I think they deserve more attention so it makes me glad to see people enjoying their music.

All of TXT members are good dancers and we all know that not all BTS members are that good in dancing. HOWEVER they improved so much and still getting better and better. They each have their own strong points. For members who excel in rapping, singing and dancing always fill in the weaknesses of each other. That's how they exude an overwhelming charisma. This part of BTS is what we should show others and eventually they will realize why BTS is so amazing. Let's not spread hate to those who are just beginning to know about them because we all started from 0.

About Ambrose’s comment. I can see why he said that, cuz txt is a quite unique group. All of the members are singers, dancers and rappers( but they don’t rap much, they’re more like a vocal group). So the are just all good in dancing(but I’m not saying that someone is better than another).Also, yes, they are tall, in fact, they are giants💀 Average height in their group is 180cm. ArmyMoa( moa is their fandom name) make jokes about how tall txt are compared to BTS😂(especially about jimin and Soobin).Chantelle, you were right saying that 4th generation of kpop is more aimed at dancing rather than singing, but still they are good singers. In case you don’t know about kpop generations- there’re 4 generations. The first one was in 90s, the second one in 2000, the third one in 2010 (BTS and blackpink),and 4 th gen is now(txt).

I will say this, the comment about txt being better dancers than bts is a bit of a stretch but in my opinion, nobody’s a better dancer than the other. Txt aren’t better dancers than bts but bts aren’t better dancers than txt. Yes, bts has been around longer than them so they had a lot of time but I never compare groups to one another because in the end, it’s not necessarily fair and when it comes skills, I have no say since I can’t sing, dance, or rap. You can say that one group is more preferable than the other without putting one down and this is coming from a K-pop fan of ten years, a moa since pre-debut, and an army for nine years. However, good reaction and would love to see more txt content 💙

Huening Kai does have sisters that were / are apart of the K-pop industry . His older sister ( Lea ) was a former trainee but is currently inactive and his younger sister ( Bahiyyih ) is apart of a girl group called Kep1er that was formed on a survival show on mnet they have debuted with there song WA DA DA and there group is only going to last 2 years as it is not a permanent group .

I think they better dancer comment actually makes sense because in TXT all 5 of them are all rounders, they are all very good dancers so i think they make it look better together. All of them also sings and raps and they are very good like their own colors but they blend in together so well.

minisode1 is really MY favorite txt era. it felt warm and I really want to go back once in a while in this era
I don't know if they are better dancers than BTS but THANK YOU for praising their dance. TXT dance are often belittle because their choreography is not "strong hitting" as many of their peers but more team and concept oriented. Even though they could kill every choreography since they are always doing something different to the trends in kpop they often are labeled as not as good.

For the dances, BTS has reached the point where they don’t focus on crisp dances (e.g. danger was superrrr crisp) but more on personal expression, but yes, txt are crazyyyy good performers and dancers

Recommend to watch funny moments and chaotic moments of them, their so chaotic even in their variety show. And looking forward for more mv reaction and live too they are so good.
TXT's storyline is more on growing up, telling the story of Gen-Z, and the painful process of every journey with a little sprinkle of fantasy . If you're going to follow their discography, starting from CROWN (when they meet friends), RUNAWAY (sort of like runaway together to sa safer place? Sorry I can't explain it well), CAN'T YOU SEE ME ( betrayal), then this one BLUE HOUR (talks about puberty, the end of childhood and imagination), and the last one is 0X1=LOVESONG (this is when they finally face the REAL WORLD which is darker than what we thought it is, the end of flowers, butterflies, good stuffs and etc). If you're going to listen well to the lyrics and read the english version, you'll be mind blown in how can the make an upbeat song with dark lyrics.
I suggest you guys watch all their music videos in sequence of release. You might find it confusing but as you guys proceed on watching other MVs, you'll soon realize what the storyline is. It is something that everyone can relate because we all been there in that stage.

It's because idols became older and the dances these days are getting more difficult, Sharp and synchronized, the training became difficult too! They debut such young Trainees..
I was once a super junior and Ukiss fan before (2nd gen groups: more exmpls: bigbang, ss501, tvxq, gg, wonder girls) what I love about them are their synchronization and dances! Raps that time don't have different change of tones and speed in just a verse. Also the Melody and beat sometimes stays (tvxq did some change of melodies on their songs - Mirotic and shine? I forgot the title) once they get older and new groups have been introduced (the 2.5 gen groups - infinite, 2pm, Shinee ...) the style will definitely change and we'll think they're better than the past gen, it's because of the new change
What I noticed about this gen, theyre more synchronized, more focused on vocals and the rap style has changed
The 3rd gen groups came in (bts, Exo, nuest, VIXX, GOT7...)
The dances got difficult! This gen.. are popular with different themes in every comeback plus Storylines in MVs (more acting)
I think this was the time fandom names got introduced? Or when lightsick got introduced? Idk much about it.. but back then Bigbang never had lightstick before..

Then the 3.5 gen came in..
Shows like survival idol shows came in more.. I noticed a lot of Groups on this gen are made of survival shows or tv auditions shows(some of the are in 3rd gen groups)...
Examples of groups are Seventeen, Monsta x, i.o.i, cosmic girls.. nct (not in a survival show)
Groups that are made from produce 101 S1 2016 - 2018? are in 3.5 gen
Now the 4th gen came in
Popular groups know today such as stray kids, txt, enhypen, ateez, treasure, itzy, aespa, nmixx...
I believe stray kids is one of the first batch to debut in 4th gen
What I noticed about on this gen..
They have different themes and story every comeback! Also they released soooo much teasers, trailers, intros, intro and outro narration for albums (like nmixx, enhypen, ateez) concept photos versions, album versions now compared before
Also they scout young people to train ( I see a lot of under 18 or 15 yrs old idols that are debuting on this gen!! And they quickly became famous bcoz of easy access for social media! Which is hardly for under 18 idols on 2nd-3rd gen groups to quickly become popular
4th gen groups Hass changed different styles in singing, dancing, especially in rapping and beats
I noticed that they changed a lot of beats and melodies in just a verse (like aespa, txt, especially nmixx). They don't stay on one genre, they explore a lot in every cb unlike 1st gen
the raps has some singing sometimes too and change their speed which got difficult for us to rap and sing bcoz the beat keep changing and the speed!
Relay dances also became a thing on this gen too!

Just wanted to share some things..
Don't worry you're not getting hate on what you said, that's your opinion.
I noticed that too, that TXT are better dancing than BTS, I'll say this is because of the synchronization, the Sharp movements... BTS was like that before but they grew older they learned when to be hype and chill in dancing, the synchronization is good but 4th gen probably will beat them for it. What I noticed too about 4th gen groups is that they dance like robots (I'm not saying they don't have feelings) it's because of perfect synchronization that it's becoming sharp, not knowing how to balance a dance when to be chill or hype. Once they got older, they'll learn it just like the past gen groups. For sure they'll get tired for dancing for so long so they need to maintain balance in their dancing.
What 3rd gen groups are advantage tho is that they're better rappers and producers!! Some of 4th gen groups these days can't write their own music because the company had given them a theme/plans to debut

Oh and I forgot the 1st gen groups that I know are shinhwa, h.o.t, sech skies, S.E.S. i believe some members from shinhwa and sech skies are soloists and actors

Thank you for understanding our friends' opinion. Being fairly new to kpop we only knew a few of this information that you have provided but I think this is exactly what he meant. It is so hard to fully explain yourself when it's your first time on camera and of course lack of knowledge but my friend does have more experience in the world of kpop than I do so that's why I didn't find his comment to be controversial. But apparently it is 😭This was a phenominal explanation, thank you for being so informational and not quick to judge and be upset with my friend's opinion. Blue hour is mv about journey to adulthood and not wanting to leave childhood behind.. So beomgyu being the last step on the book(maybe fairy tale) to finally go to adulthood after everyone already left... That's why so much soft colours and stuff like imagination..
Lovesong is about their harsh reality of the world and experiencing it after getting out of 'blue hour' that's why angsty emo vibe... Blue hour was childhood and lovesong is like a angsty teenager years where you are finding your own identity trying not to get lost and tempted to rebel against society and do bad things

Both TXT and BTS a great dancers
TXT is the most self loving individuals which is the funniest and best thing ever
I love TXT! They’re just as entertaining as BTS :) they’re all a mess. Big Hit knows how to pick them
TXTs trainee years are all sort of average. Yeonjun and taehyun trained the longest for around 4 or 5 years, Soobin trained for 3 as did hyuka. Beomgyu however only trained for 1 year. He was apparently selected for the debut line up as soon as he joined.
Beomgyu trained for 2 years… he joined bh in nov 2016 and debuted in March 19
You guys definitely picked up on a lot. Dancing is one of their strong suits, their choreography is amazing and they're incredibly in sync to the point its scary. I would definitely suggest watching some of their dance practices to see their dances full on. Also, yes, they are giants
same Yeonjun is my bias too but all of the members are funny and have great personalities too. Looking forward to more reactions from you with more TXT videos, music,other contents

TXT is awesome!! From vocals to choreography to stage presence every thing about TXT is just so amazing and beautiful. And yes they have a wide range of music genres which are really really fabulous !! 💙✨
Even in this generation of K-pop where they were expected to be good at anything, TXT still went beyond just 'good' to the point that there's no position in the group aside from the leader.. that's because the 5 of them are all main vocal, main dancer, and rapper each in different songs. Big Hit collected 5 of them all before 2017, before BTS hit big internationally... they're really collecting diamonds(TXT) and keeping them as a hidden weapon in the new generation of K-Pop
TXT looks good dancing 1. They have better posture 2. They look good with the choreography that suits their tall bodies 3. They are younger. However, have you seen BTS dance when they were younger also? BTS also practiced very hard but minus the support that Big Hit could now afford trainees like TXT. I am a bit disappointed that you agreed with him.

i'm quite confused when your friend say that txt are better dancer than BTS like "have he seen any BTS performance ?" cause I saw his reaction video only for tinydesk performance. he said he have seen 1 BTS performance hmm... what is it ? if it's butter i can understand why he said that, that's a common comment for a non-dancer cause for song like butter or dynamite the choreos more into their own style of movement and more loose compare to early BTS choreos or new kpop group that focused on power, synchronization, and group formation, that's a different style of dance. BTS is famous as the group with the best dance/performance in Korea, BTS have 3J who are beast in dance (a korean pro dancer even can't believe that J-hope is an idol cause his dance is on the level of pro (just) dancer not an idol dancer), but yeah TXT don't have any fixed position and they're all good dancer (yeonjun is the best dancer in txt for me hehe). I think new idols are required only to be able to do everything and for BTS they have positions but they're ace in their own positions like if you put 7 member into different group they all deff will have the "main" position within the group. anyway i like txt please react more to them they're really talented and funny💕 and FYI RM is one of the songwriter of 0x1=Lovesong (I Know I Love You)😉

Yeonjun- trained for 5 years (4 years under BigHit) and a.k.a "BigHit Legendary Trainee" because he's always top 1 in Dance, Singing, Rapping and Overall in their monthly evaluations for 4 years.
Taehyun- trained for 3 years and a few months ahead of Soobin.
Soobin- trained for 3 years too
Huening Kai- trained for 2 years (a few months ahead of Beomgyu)
Beomgyu- trained the least among them (he joined the company and the last member to be included).
I recommend y'all to watch how they got casted because it's so funny and amazing how all of them joined their company.

I personally think it's very unfair to compare bts dance style with txt, txt are amazing dancers but bts had to start with very little compared to others, the opportunity that the 4th gen have now, bts didn't have them, some of them had to learn dance from 0 and knowing that this make their choreography at the beginning even more impressive, but from the bts members who did have experience with dancing, their skills and experience are from a whole other level, Jimin being the best contemporary dancer from his dance department or JHope already having a reputation has an hiphop dancer and of course Jk and Yoongi used to be a bboy before his accident. At the end of the day BTS built their company from the ground, everything that Hybe have and the fact they're internationally recognized has one of the top entertainment company his solely due to BTS who was bighit only boy group for the longest time, it will be a long time before another kpop group surpasses or even compare to bts achievements, i'm sorry if my tone seems a bit harsh or mad, i'm trying to explain and english is not my first language, it's not my intention to appear like this
