The genius of these execises is that they're short and simple, so it only takes a minute or so to understand the riff. I'm going to miss these when the 30 days are up!
Never tried hybrid picking before. Really enjoyed that one. I found the higher inversions without having to refer to your finger positions. Finally, I feel I am making progress. Thank you!
The picking part came easier than some of the switch to that particular E chord (which I realize is just a matter of practicing that chord more). Thanks for another great exercise. Day 23 ☑️
Oh this was painful! I’ve been playing for over 35 years and can Travis picking reasonably well but this made my fingers feel like useless uncoordinated sausages that had to be willed into moving. I was concentrating so much even the simple triad shapes were hard to change between. By the time I quit I could just about string the three chords together but still sounded like I’d just started learning how to play😂
I'm guessing I should be practicing each exercise 5-10 minutes each day. But, how do I break them down in days? If I did all 30 for 5 minutes a day, that's like 3 hours of just working on these exercises alone. An my problem with any exercise is, I never know when to try and speed it up. Because I can never nail any exercise consistently even at slow to medium speeds. Heck, I can' t even get yesterdays (Day 22) exercise underneath my fingers (so to speak) after doing it for over an hour between yesterday and today.

Still here and the series has been great loads of useful material for the rest of 2025 really. Thanks Adrian.

Day 23 ☑️
Thank you for this series. Came late to the party. Working on mastering each day before moving onto the next.
great exercise, my fav so far
Still here with a week to go… and more flippin’ fingerstylish stuff. Woe is me.
Nice! Very useful both for picking and triads
Excellent exercise. I want to learn hybrid picking and it's a struggle. Hope this helps!
Nice. Thanks

Never tried hybrid picking - sounds good 🎶🎶🎶🎸🎸🎸
I like this one a lot.
Great exercise!
still hanging in, luckily this is one I can do reasonably well already

I agree # 22 is crazy hard. For the rest, I'll work on 3 per day. 1 spider, 1 scale arpeggio and 1 rhythmic idea.
Niiiiicce!
still here...😢
Not the main point of the lesson I know but It doesn’t matter that you’re not always picking the root first?
