They build the houses on prop without permits then the state swoops in later and suprises them with fines and a property tax thats tripled whipe the owners are trying to payboff the original loan. They are forced to surrender the whole deal😢. Make sure there is no outstanding leins or money owed that will be tacked onto the asking price. THATS HOW THEY GETCHA!
I recommend against owning property in Michigan. The taxes and politics are causing and exodus and property values are declining, while taxes continue to rise. I'm selling my MI property, and going to someplace more tax friendly and free.
