  • When gun violence happens to one person, the whole community is also affected by the violence.
After 18-year-old Keondre Adams was shot and killed at a deli in Tompkinsville on Staten Island, his family and friends had to cope with trauma. But with gun violence recurring, it has not been easy.
Keondre's family and friends join community leaders and mentors Malcolm Penn of Penn & Perry Inc and Mike Perry from True2Life to reflect on the ongoing trauma they experience from gun violence and how understanding trauma helps them cope.
If you have experienced gun violence or lost a loved one to gun violence, we are here for you.
