My 2010 has 691whp and that's plenty for a daily. Supercharger really wakes up the LS7. Lots of fun when an unsuspecting Hellcat, Ferrari, whatever challenges an "old" Corvette at a light. ;-) Stay safe everyone. Cheers from Florida.

@@martinzeosex Oddly, I actually bought my car from Strickland Chevrolet in Pearland, Texas and drove it home to the Gulf Coast of Florida (about 8 hours). All the work was done at Hennessey, who are near the dealership, before I bought it but it had some engine work and has a Hennessey-"massaged" supercharger. I know Hennessey has a questionable reputation but I haven't had any problems with the car in 7 years and they were very helpful when I've called or emailed them. The folder in the car showed a dyno tune at Texas Motor Speedway putting down 691hp and 630tq at the wheels. I bought it in 2014 with just over 8,000 miles on it. It runs on 93 which is lucky for me since there isn't (sadly) a gas station offering E85 within 60 miles of where I live. I'm sure yours doesn't but mine still feels completely stock under 3,000rpm when I'm putting around town. These cars really are brilliant whether you leave them stock or mod them. Stay safe.
Come back to me in a year and see if that boosted LS7 is still in one piece. LS7s were not made to handle boost. It'll grenade itself sooner than later. And a stock c6 Z06 can beat a heavy POS hellcat, you don't need 690whp to beat one of those. Lol

Same here, NA setup at 600 whp is plenty for sure. Most don't realize C6 z06 is the lightest of them all so we don't need crazy power to beat others.. this is why mclarens are also fast as they are the same weight with alot of power woth low drag.

2nd gear at 50mph, still spun the tires.
Telling you from personal experience that’s no large feat for a boosted 7L in a car that light. My turbo lq4 (6.0L) in my f body will haze my M/T drag radials like they’re normal street tires at 90+ mph… it’s freaking SKETCHY sometimes
You would get there a lot faster if you didn’t skip gears, haha. The car sounds awesome though.

At some point you have to ask, what is the point when you can’t use all of it. 4th gear is one that hooked but can’t go 150mph everywhere and he left off early. Really cool though of course! I’m a RWD sports car fan myself but at some point I guess you have to have AWD.
That’s why you just build up a low displacement “slow” sports car so you can stretch out every gear and barely go fast enough to break the speed limit lmao

Mine makes 572 rwhp and I have a tough time getting traction with just about any rear tire. Currently running Nitto Invo 345's on the rear and can't really get traction in 1st or 2nd gear. I may need to get something really sticky like Mickey Thompson ET Streets. What are you running?
