Gret job man, a good vid.
I like that air rifle, more than any other that I had in my life!
When I buy my it was 180 m/sec 7.5 Jules strong and i shooting abouth 400 shots with one 88g cartridge.
But I upgrade it with stronger valve 16J, it cost me abouth 55 euros.
O man now its a real air magnum, now it can be compared with PCP rifles.
Me and my friends do some testing with chrony, now its arond from 260 to 270 m/sec(thats I think around 800fps) with standard 0,49g (7,56grain) pellets, but I like to use heavy pellets especially Gamo T10 LongDistance 0,670g(10,49grain) and JSB Exact Heavy 0,670g, also few others pellets around 0,600 to 0,700g that is around 10 to 10,50grain.
I'm not hunter but now this air gun can be used for small game hunting for sure, at 20meters easelly break trough 15mm (litle bit more than half inch) wood desk, that is deadly wound even for human!
Sory coz of my bad gramatics :)
    Greatings from Croatia!

7.14gr pellet is what you used, which means you get, at most, 400/3=133 shots, and that's at CO2 critical temperature at 31.1C for 1,070 psi. The 180 m/sec and 7.5 Joules makes total sense for a 0.177, but not the 0.22, so you need to look into your rifles transfer port, hammer binding, pits, burrs, and valve spring tension. Your best and most consistent shots on CO2 are 1-1/2 minutes apart and making sure that your pellets are consistent in weight and form. Your claimed 400 shots got my attention and I had to break out the calculator because I thought you were on to some miraculous modification. The math: 88g / 400 shots = 0.22g CO2 to get 7.5J that equals triple Wow! Thats 3,000J of energy from 88g of CO2! Not even the manufacturers make such outlandish claims. Revers engineering in Imperial units: 3,000J = 2212.68645 fpe, so 2212.7 x 48 / pi /1,070 psi / (0.22 x 0.22 x 0.22) = 143.6 inch barrel length, if your gun has such 12 foot long barrel then I believe you and I stand corrected. Numbers do not lie, but you can lie with numbers such as the manufacturers do when they report the velocity without telling us that they used the lightest alloy pellet, and when they also report their kinetic energy without telling us that they used the heaviest pellet, we presume outlandish performance.

I never say that all 400 shots are same srong energy, and I neve shot 1 by 1 all that 400 shots, CO2 get recover in the certridge, even for a few minutes, especially at one or two days now in the summer time when its 30 to 35 C° temperatures
Now when its upgrade to 16Jules, I have good 170 to 200 strong shots, all depends of temperature and recovery time between shots.
For my opinion, for now it's the only one serious CO2 air rifle.
And it is so accurate and good because that is Walther Dominator upgrade for CO2

you should get yourself some Molykote 111 Compound grease for O Rings... smear a small amount on any O rings you replace - extends life of the O Rings and makes for easier fitting!!

Your FPS is too low you need to back out the co2 cartridge 1/8 to 1/2 turn after seating or co2 will be blocked considerably.

That's a easy fix you could use silicone gasket maker too. Just a little goes a long way and don't get it in the puncture needle.

do you have a fps restriction where you live or a FPE? the Hammerli 850 shoots CPM's at 660+ fps, 415 not real, and by the way there are o-rings specifically for the 850 to take care of that problem, they are yellowish.. they are on ebay for $2.95 for 3pcs.

Just remember to put the stock back on before you insert the CO2 cannister. You don't wanna find out why. :)

I love this rifle, but have a problem cocking it. I put the magazine in, slide the shaft forward to load the pellet, but then shaft is hard to slide the last bit to load the pellet, I try to pull the lock it in place but will not go down. Have you any idea why this is happening, does it need slight oil? Or could it be the very small o ring which goes through the magazine. What size is the O ring on the magazine?

So sorry I’m just seeing this. I had the pellet issue when using pellets that were a little too big around the skirt. They blew out several o rings on the magazines. I don’t remember the o ring size but Home Depot has them. Have you gotten it fixed?

HOME DEPOT does not supply stuff for AIR GUNS! FIRST MISTAKE. ONLY MISTAKE. There are shops that supply this kind of stuff.

Yeah. The .22 pellet would hit a little harder though. All depends on the application I guess.
