Amazing and Queen Sugar has been robbed for years of their recognition when it comes to awards. If it was on a regular channel and created by WM this would get an Emmy every year, the show is that great and powerful.
I think it is because they don't produce enough episodes per season to qualify for the awards.

Amazing show on many levels...wild it isn't recognized, but always the case...acting alone it is so much talent killing it...Love the show, but came to it way late and watched on Hulu. Aspirational art for sure
This show is fantastic, the layout of the show is organic and well thought out. Hollywood hate giving credit to a black cast and all -female writers. Ava and Oprah probably knew this would transpire, but persevere. The true reward is that this show uplifted, inspired and entertained us all.

Lately I've been creeped out by Oprah. I'm having a hard time understanding Oprah. I feel like (and I've always and forever loved her) I feel like she's fake. After the Meghan and Harry interview - and all the information that's been coming out - and all the lies, I mean easy to prove false on google kind of lies - it seems like Oprah knew this, or is too fluffy a journalist to do her homework, or doesn't ask the hard questions because she's getting paid not to ask them, I don't know - it's like she's complicit with Meghan and Harry's outrageous abuse and bullying of others. And I know Oprah would not treat people like that - but this is creeping me out about Oprah. God it makes me sad to feel this way - but my moral core is telling me something is NOT right.
