As someone who work on A400m project, I have the chance to visit this mighty beauty this september in Melsbroek. It is of course a special occasion for people who work on this project. I make mostly main landing gear parts and some flaps(mechanism) parts. My work is not that far from. Straight in line with RWY02 :) btw great video 🫡
It is clearly 25R of Melsbroek/Zaventem. You can see the terminal A at the left side and in the distance the NATO headquarters building. Also, around 500ft, you can see the graveyard of Steenokkerzeel, to the left of the flightpath.
@@poopycarrots7906 The landing was on 25R in this video and yes it was the main airport. After flight you see us taxiing to the military ramp at Melsbroek!
Beautiful beast!
Definitely

I really loved it to be able to fly this beast. To my opinion a very decent aircraft for the European forces!
Superb. The same model of the Belgian Air Force flew from Kinshasa to Lusaka, last week.
The A400M is just an awesome appearance!
Yes very exciting to land in Brussels
it was very nice to do it once from the cockpit 😎
WAW i didn't expect a cockpit like that😁 Reminds me the a350 so much
Well it looks the Airbus technology is everywhere in these types of planes 😎
the cockpit is actually taken from the a380
@@lars9966 ...but adapted for military use with HUD and third crew member to act as mission specialist to relieve the flight crew.
02:35 That was uncalled for. I think the landing was fine.
I know you were there only for the girls and not for rhe ride!!😀 As always you got some of the best experiences!!greetings from Italy!!
Indeed for the girls!
Hèhè. Wel it was an awesome experience to fly with the A400
Amazing...❤❤❤❤

C'est beau un bel avion.
😎👍
Very interesting to see the F/O using both displays as ND. Didn’t know it was possible!
Me neither 👍
It’s possible because the HUD is certified as primary flight display.

Fully correct 👍
One of these flew over our house a few weeks ago here in Alaska. I heard it coming from a long ways away as it is very noisy.
Big plane much noise :-D
Le charme de la co-pilote...
👍
Sorry about That i usted to land for years on that runway 😊
Good for you, it was my first time here at Brussels.
Is this from the 21st of July?
Yes indeed
Gave opname Alex!
Merci. Was ook een uitzonderlijk uitstapje 😇
See them flying, very very low, over granddaughters house in Eksel, at least they are not as noisy as the old F16s.
Nice sight ha? Wait until the F35 will arrive, they make much more noise than an F16
@@AlexvanNoije really ? I would have thought they would have been quieter.
@@AlexvanNoije No fighters in Brussels/Melcbroek anyway...
Was the pilots' faces intentionally blurred (OPSEC)?
Yes it was. Safety of NATO personnel is important.
Incredible! There is NO runway 28, the runway the A400 lands is the 25R.😮
'Runway 28' is the name of the channel...
Are you serious 😂😂 ??
Runway28 is the name of my channel 😉
This runway is 23 R. Brussels airport has no runway 23 R. Only runway 25L/25R and runway 07L/07R and runway 10/19
👍👍
It’s not the main airport

That's not the runway of melsbroek or brussels
yes it is. Runway 28R. You can see terminal A at the left of the runway
sorry , runway 25R
Yes it is. Runway 25R 👍
Yes it is, runway 25R
