Thanks! I think i have a longer version of this uploaded.. i need to check. It was a couple years ago or so. But definitely a lot of various items can be utilized to create textures... or not too crisp shield work.
The cut brush? I got a couple dollar brushes cut up they are amazing for owls and such. provided you understand they do 80 percent and you embellish them. :)
John Deackman terraslate, which is usually my most used synthetic. I have shown before how it holds paint better than any other synthetic. The downside is being it holds paint more it also takes a little more pressure to erase on. I feel it resembles gessoboard more than other synthetics. Unlike yupo or such, accidentally scratching just does not happen with terraslate. Thanks!
I used various types of erasers in this video. I updated the link to my amazon storefront where you can find links for each type of eraser i use.. Fiberglass pens, sand erasers, and exacto blades are pretty common for removal techniques. Thanks!
Your method of madness with anything becomes a shield is very educational. Love it!
