The Maverick Sport XMR is a nice looking machine and appears to be very capable. I just priced one on Can Am's website for the fun of it. $29,600 including tax in Canadian dollars (no options included) PDI, Freight, and dealer fees were not included in the price! Next time you show a Can Am with the Smark Lok system please show some comparisons of the different settings being used. Showing it being driven through water and ice doesn't really showcase the differences of each setting. Pick you obstacle of choice and show the machine getting through it, or over it, with each setting being engaged to really showcase the differences. It's nice to hear that Smark Lok works, I want to actually see it work because the Visco Lok doesn't really work like Can Am says it does.
i dont mean to be so off topic but does anybody know a trick to log back into an Instagram account..? I was stupid forgot my account password. I would appreciate any help you can offer me
@Curtis Rodney Thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site thru google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff atm. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
@Curtis Rodney WTF IT ACTUALLY WORKED :O I literally got access to my ig login within ~ 45 minutes of using the site. I had to pay 15$ but for sure worth the price :) Thanks so much, you saved my ass !
8:05 if you want to see the “smart lock” as they call it working, personally I’d prefer full manual control but that’s just me. The human brain will always be smarter then the ECM for the true off-road enthusiast. For the run of the mill crowd it’s a good feature I guess. I’d rather have a open/locked toggle to select controlled 3 and 4 wheel pivoting donuts aka cyclone to some. Also this vs an X3, I’d take a X3 for desert or open type racing but mud/trails this wins hands down. A turbo 1000r XMR would be cool though! Yamaha and Honda both are definitely top in reliability and overall tough stature. Love them both. If you want a real good plow look up a Denali plow...yeah it’s heavy but you will never ever hurt it and the price is great. 60” blade on mine pushing gravel, snow, dirt and down trees and not a scratch on her. I’d attach that plow to a Jeep and not think twice!
Really tough choice, but for the slower mountain type East Coast trails where I live, the Maverick Sport makes sense. But for faster trails the YXZ would be my choice.
AJ u run that XMR good n hard bro. Lol i do believe u love. Driving them hard. Say hi next time in Powason ont. I seen ya 2 years now. Bring this bike this year..
That Can Am is freakin' awesome! BUT, starting at $20,000 is ridiculous. In other news, Textron desperately needs to revamp the mudpro into the alterra bodystyle, it is seriously outdated.
Yep, the Maverick trail was a great base to build from. Part of me is jealous of the XMR and the RC... and then I am like nah... the Sport fits my riding better.
What are the mechanical differences between the 1000R MR and RC? Are the differences mostly bolt-on items like A-arm and rocker skids? Where I live, the RC would seem to be the better rig, but I much prefer the looks of the MR. I would do some occasional snow and mud, but most of my riding would be trails around Lake Tahoe and the Nevada desert.
I've been looking into that and it seems it's just the wheels and tires. I think if you bought a second set of tires you could have the one machine thats great for doing anything you want!
Is there any indication Yamaha will actually make a Grizzly 850 anytime soon? I would like something with some more power than the 700 but just can't bring myself to spend big money on an unreliable Polaris or Can Am.
I love Yamaha, but calling the Grizzley a 700 after all these years is a joke it 667cc not 700, talk about crap advertising, put a twin in the damn thing and make it a 700 at least!!
I wonder if yanmiehammer leaves that super single in their Grizzly for fuel mileage reasons? Or is it profit driven 🤔. Don’t they have a sweet twin in the wolverine🤭
I think it's a why fix something that's not broken. I had a Kodiak 400 5 speed got me all around the trails no problem. I could put it in 3rd and scream up the biggest hills. I don't believe I would ever need more than a 700 Grizzly and I think they understand this.
Not sure why manufactures put much effort in releasing new quads. Doesn't seem like people buy them anymore. I had 2 and sold both to buy a side x side. I'll never go back.
They don t do that, they just made a video where they told us all the problem they had with it: -Hard bottoming when jumping -broken rear axle due to a factory misajustment of the trailling arm -poor quality rear cv boot that destruct them self
@@ericlessard5021hey did make a video and it was a good one that told of their experiences with XX that were mostly positive. They do however comment on more than one review, to back up their opinion in their review. No SXS is perfect and most have teething issues when they are first released as in the steering rack in the X3 and the Polaris rzr, well enough said. The XX brings a few new tricks to the game but like the rest it had issues with the first batch that was released. In the end no matter what they bring to the table Polaris gave us the first true sport SXS. My point is that no other media reviewers chose to comment on the Blog of the XX or any other SXS for that mater and they should reciprocate by keeping their opinion strictly to their Blog. They are fun to watch and have come a long way in the last number of years, I'm sure their professionalism will continue to grow as the Blog matures!
Loved the shots of the XMR bogging in the ice and snow!!!
Hands down, best off-road / out-door content on the planet! Great episode as usual!
You guys make advertisements fun and interesting to watch👍
All this snow is just crazy to me. High of 75 in Tucson day before Christmas
That xmr is a all around ride!! I want one!!!!!!!

The plow is the same you get from your Honda dealer just a fyi
Can Am maverick sport xmr OR Textron Wildcat XX ?? I'm wanting something that's comfortable to ride all day with 2 full size adults. 6'
I was told the xmr sport has 10% GR in lo and high gear. Is this true??
Good episode!

Gearing , Xmr has a beefier axle and then the snorkels

Oh no U just made a positive comment about XX! Here comes SXS blog to argue differently!

Can am is where it's at, I can't stand how Polaris is belt driven. Get it wet, it's gone slip an possibly burn it.
