This is the best tool I have ever seen for a truck I think every truck driver should have one, it will save thousands of dollars thank you for the great video!!
I have used this for years and it has more than paid for itself. Mine was made in China and the gears were dry. Take it apart and pack it with grease and it’ll last a long time. Best tool ever for big trucks.
Folks, These are left-handed threads so even though it may appear that we are tightening them, they actually come off in the reverse direction! Thanks EZLugWrench.com
Any truck lug nuts without the built on washer (have the double nuts or any combination of big 6 sided outer nuts & square head inner nuts), have left hand threads on the driverside & right hand on the right. the nuts with washers built on have right hand treads on all sides.
It only takes about 15 turns to break them loose, then they come off easily using the extension. 1:78 is the gear ratio. The higher the ratio, the more potential torque output.
I have a torque increaser for the last 10 years and is a brilliant tool the air compresser has failed to remove studs and this tool has opened them. if they are rusted on and there is no movement it will ring them right off if you want them to
I need one but not for wheel nuts. The flange nuts and ball seat nuts on semis don't tend to get too corroded and seize beyond a healthy 1" impact can handle. Tires are one of the most commonly changed parts which means those nuts gets turned often. It's when I encounter something that was supposed to be tightened once and never taken off again that torque gets insane. It can be so high I actually twist the shank or break it. I've twisted a 3/4 square drive on a U-bolt.
the one thing the guy says is to use the same force to tighten that you use to loosen the nuts, be careful because you can break studs, use a torque wrench and torque to the rim manufacturer specs, also be careful as to what kind of nuts you are using.
I once had a '95 Chrysler with alloy or aluminum wheels and we had the worst time removing those lugnuts the first time. Not only that but these wheels were the same ones found on some minivans and this style had many small holes to clean. I hated cleaning them things!!
Every time I balance a steel wheel I long for alloys but things get complicated, so unless you're an Elton John want to be, go with steel, you'll be glad you did.
In our shop we have a problem with mechanics over tightening, so I bought one and it did well, but sometimes had clearance problems in the duallys so I bought a couple air driven 2nd hand ones and tried to set them up with the correct reaction arms but assesories are expensive and hard to find without talking to a representative but the good news is, no vibration, less air consumption, excellent nut breaking capability (depending on the model), very accurate tightening, ability to use while sitting, availability of a cup type reaction arm (kinda expensive but multi directional....disadvantages, slower (unless you get a high level 2 speed or you can use your cordless impact to run the nuts),pneumatic units need regulator-lubracator-filter unit ,...but overall, not a bad way to go,...definitely not for the Yahoo....you will need a variety of sockets at vering heights.
You cannot and should not use the extension for anything other than removing loose lug nuts. It WILL twist and brake, trust me. Other than that this WILL get any lug nut off, I am pretty sure its physically impossible for it not to. Great little tool.
it looks like it could be handy for a handle extension if youre in a deep dish dually rim and dont have enough room to swing the handle, but it doesnt appear to work that way, because it would have to have a female end on it
Big enough compressor to operate it? My 6 gallon Porter cable 150 PSI will operate a 1/2 drive impact wench just fine 'as long as you stay within it's duty cycle.
Damn....looks like a good tool. With a spear behind the cab and a large bar, a driver can change his own tire. Thats a 2 or 3 hundred dollar savings instead of calling a mobile unit
Correct, on the older BUDD-stud centering type, they are left hand thread on the left hand side, identified by the square inner nut with the "L" stamped in the end.
I bought something similar to this, I think mine was only 52 to 1 ratio and it did the job, but if used on a daily basis, you might want to have a spare, they are not made as well as the air driven ones that cost thousands of dollars and you cannot change the reaction arm but I will say this is the most promising one of this category I've seen.
It's not my place to stay but after buying one similar my guess would be somewhere between 100 and 250 US dollars, which is a fraction of what the professional and air driven ones go for.
That's all well and good until the battery dies. not to mention that a cordless impact is gonna be utilized for many tasks making it all the more likely that it won't be in the vehicle when you get stuck out far from home or help.
I thought another video on my computer was playing in the background - nope, it's that annoying 'ghost' music in this video. ...but hey, the product is really cool, even though the video sucks.

I purchased one of these for my stubborn lugnuts on my Box truck. Ended snapping the bolts right off, yea that's a lot of power and a must have.

You the MAN!
I carry one of these in my 1947 GMC PD3751 Greyhound Bus & wouldn't hit the road without it! AWESOME TOOL!
Sounds like ya got a lot a class too!

haha that caught me off gaurd but i figured that out lol
Lol, should have made the video with standard right hand threads. It just looks wrong. :)
Gallons, inches, pounds, left-handed theads you yankees always messing up evererything
Carried Proto torq- multiplier and small jack stand since forever!
What an awesome and convenient tool. Good video!
If you guys have ever used this tool, you will know how great this tool is,and it is so cheap, just buy already

Was not disappointed.
It only takes about 15 turns to break them loose, then they come off easily using the extension. 1:78 is the gear ratio. The higher the ratio, the more potential torque output.
Is it really 1:78 gear ratio?

I already have one its in my semi truck . I am glad to easy to remove nuts from wheel than old tire wrench !!
How do you know how tight to torque them back with this i hear lugs on big trucks are 4 to 500 ft lbs
the one thing the guy says is to use the same force to tighten that you use to loosen the nuts, be careful because you can break studs, use a torque wrench and torque to the rim manufacturer specs, also be careful as to what kind of nuts you are using.
On the old two piece barrel lug nuts the right side is right hand thread and left side is left hand thread.
Can this thing run Crisis at 144 frames per second at 4k resolution?

these are good tools for removing frozen rusted large lug nuts if you do have a large air compressor.
I cant believe I just watched this and I don't even need it. But maybe I now do?

Heavy vehicles use left and right hand threaded nuts depending on which side of the vehicle.
Just like the peddles on a bicycle....
1:13 "Mulitplier". Very nice tool btw.
It will work on any nut as long as you have something to brace it against.
+Paul Affleck hola ., donde lo puedo comprar,??? gracias.

Wholy Molly!,don't let that raw power get away from you!....(fart)
Great tool!
Looks handy, but FYI, it is spelled DUALLY.
can you tell me where i can bye this in India or Import it
Damn....looks like a good tool. With a spear behind the cab and a large bar, a driver can change his own tire. Thats a 2 or 3 hundred dollar savings instead of calling a mobile unit
Yes, just test before relying on it, you might need some different sockets.
What do u need a spear for? For changing a tire in the Amazon or what? Against the head hunters? Lol
i get one for my birthday today. i have a Toyota Coaster BB10 1977
These are left-handed threads...as mentioned in the video.

YOUR TIGHTENING IT :s😃
Where can I order it ? Ebay, Harbor freight ? Any idea ?

that's damned near as cool as elvis haha, will be one in my box soon
thats a cool tool
What is the song used in the video?
The secret of my success by Night Ranger
the multiplier changes the direction through the gears
I had to mark the reaction arm. (LOOSE & TITE)
Cost efficient
I just got mine thanks

Sketchiest cheater bar EVER
Can i use one of these on Axle nuts?
as long as you can get a 1 inch drive socket that will fit the night and there's something to brace against then it should work
you have to rotate the handle 78 times to make the nut rotate 1 time ? must take forever
Beats the alternative though. And also very useful for us owner operators who do infrequent tire removals for various tasks.
@@maxenra well after seeing it again , I think it's good to crack the nut loose and then use some faster tool
@@farerse Absolutely! I'll use my cordless drill with the right socket to finish them off.
When you turn your input it seem that the output ratio is not 1:78
Milwaukee m18 fuel 3/4 with 9ah battery. Nuff said.

How much $$ ?

Left handed threads.
Good

I didn't think the video was all that bad but I agree the music didn't do it justice.
👌👌👌👌👌
that's funny, ,seams lie your turning it the wrong way but it's actually the right way. .lol
ANDY SEWELL oh sorry didn't see your now educated reply.
Good idea but made too light duty and will fail.
We haven't had one fail yet. This is the most heavy duty on the market.

Lefty loosy righty thity
They sell these to owners of porsches for like 300 dollars to take off the wheels with single center lug nuts. Dam rip off if you ask me....
I thought that was included with the car when you bought it
+revmpandora nope. They assume you will just take it to the dealer or use roadside assistance. Which you would anyway after spending that amount.
he didn't even turn it the right way??
If you listened he said he was working on left handed threads.
+bluelude2001 Or read it?
And you didn't even listen to the video...
