I feel like the best way to watch this anime is to appreciate it as a slice of life sports anime. So many people are so salty in the crunchyroll comment threads about this anime being too slow but it's honestly paced so well. So sorry they're not entering the "zone" every goddamn match but there's so many sports anime that's done the unrealistic overpowered ability thing, so I'm glad this anime has taken a much more refreshing approach to its storytelling.
We’ll said. People need to understand that not every character in manga or anime is simply OP. I like the way this show/manga is going because it shows that as long is that you continue even when you fail. You learn, grow and become the best you.
This anime is amazing and idk why people are mad about how slow it progresses. I feel that it works in its favor. Developing each character slowly and having even the side characters have some background to them. Chucky and Nabu are characters I find more compelling now that the show gave more background and understanding to their characters while also progressing the teams bond and not having them so OP, rather all of them developing into a well rounded team and interesting characters.

Another amazing opening for a show that has gone under the radar I think. The manga has a long way to go and seeing the boys progress is honestly one of my favourite things about it. Can't say I've seen many other sports anime that have them lose so many before a win streak
I absolute love how realistic it is. No team could possibly just go winning with the amount of experience these boys had at the beginning. The build is well justified and adds to the story wonderfully

I like a lot of their songs, and I thought they will never get the recognition they really deserve, and to be honest I really wanted them to have a song in an anime, I'm glad they gave them this opportunity and I hope more people know about them through this anime
I like this anime because of how the story and plot is handled. I love it when you start at the bottom and you have to work and earn your war to the top. Nothing is easy and it shows the progress of losing. No matter how you try there’s always going to be someone better than you and that is just how it is. This anime is so because of that. It doesn’t show the main character entering the zone and no powers with 120 mph passes. That is why I love this anime.
But some of the abilites are kinda ridiculous. Sora practically never misses a 3pt shot, his wierd two hand release and the most mindblowing was Kaname Shigeyoshi hook shot. This dude jumps above the basket and throws a basketball in a downward direction, so it can't be blocked, because it's a goaltending, and he is only about 6' 5"... (James Harden is similar height), so to do that broken move he needs about 50+ inch vertical. STANDING. It's just ridiculous...

He misses some of them too and often in clutch moments. Mokichi said he can't do the downward hook shot consistently and did it once that game to discourage them from blocking
Technically there is a zone in this show later on but, its a more realistic version Edit: To the others, The zone does exist in real life it's just a high level of concentration like Rak said, MJ and others enter it
After devouring the 50 Episodes like crazy i went to read the manga. Ahiru no Sora is truly underrated and a hidden gem in the sports genre. I just love that its realistic as in not going superhuman for absolutely no reason. The Characters are good written as well, the Pacing is fine, the feels and ambitions are the real deal and the storytelling is also great. Other Sport Anime/Manga: when they are gonna lose a fuckin match already?! Ahiru no Sora: plz just win 1 game, give our bois some hope...

The character that foils Sora in this opening ends up being one of my favorite characters, despite the animation in this show I think the writing is one of the bests in the Sports Manga/Anime genre
This show is definitely the best basketball story out there outside of Slam Dunk. The others are all super power bullshits. Ahiru no Sora actually has a great cast of believable characters and a story progression that actually makes sense. Their struggles are what weaker schools probably go through unlike some Kuroko shit.

Soy gran fan del baloncesto y de las obras que están adaptados al anime slam dunk, y ahora este anime me parecen los que captan mejor la escencia del deporte. También son series con gran contenido narrativo fuera de las canchas. Caso contrario a KnB, que si bien me gusta mucho su atractivo estaba únicamente en la kiseki no sedai y sus enfrentamientos contra el seirin, acompañados de una eso sí, hermosa y fluida d animación que a día de hoy sigue siendo espectacular. La animación es de hecho el punto más bajo de ahiru no sora. De tener una mejor animación haría más impresionantes los momentos de los partidos. Aunque han habido poco de ellos cada uno es más emocionante y mejor que el anterior y con una mejor animación serían un deleite en todos los sentidos.

昔からのACIDMANファンです。ポップでわかりやすくて一回聞いたらサビがどこって分かりやすい曲が好まれがちだけど、敢えてそれをせずに難解な事にチャレンジして唯一無二の世界観を出しているバンド。それがACIDMAN。でもここまで爽やかでキャッチーな曲も作れるんだと大木さんのセンスに脱帽！初めてACIDMANを知った方は是非他の曲も聴いて欲しいです。
8年前に塾の先生にamazarashi、ACIDMAN、ミスチル、9mmを教えて貰ったんですがamazarashiしか聴いてませんでした。

Caso contrario a KnB, que si bien me gusta mucho su atractivo estaba únicamente en la kiseki no sedai y sus enfrentamientos contra el seirin, acompañados de una eso sí, hermosa y fluida d animación que a día de hoy sigue siendo espectacular.
La animación es de hecho el punto más bajo de ahiru no sora. De tener una mejor animación haría más impresionantes los momentos de los partidos. Aunque han habido poco de ellos cada uno es más emocionante y mejor que el anterior y con una mejor animación serían un deleite en todos los sentidos.
