    I'm russian biology student, watching your italian tutorials in english at 2x speed at midnight, hoping that will help me to pass my exam tomorrow. This madness definitely deserves at least 1$ donation per month, thanks a lot)

    Sir can you PLEASE explain me when to take acceleration due to gravity negative? Or positive?

    • @ProfessorDaveExplains
      @ProfessorDaveExplains  6 років тому +2

      it's just about how we define our directions! by convention we say that down towards the ground is the negative direction, so the acceleration due to gravity, which points down to the ground, is always negative. something that accelerates away from the earth, like a rocket booster, that would generate a positive acceleration.

    Hi Dave. Thanks for your lessons :) Just one question: should there actually be an apostrophe here 'Qual'è'..? I was taught that it should be 'qual è'.. (i.e. a space instead of apostrophe). Confused!

  • @DarkNess2491

    "Qual è" is without apostrophe! 😉
