I’m working on it. 😀
Lovely stamp from malta
Thanks, Ananya. I appreciate your watching.

Thanks, Alan.
Another great selection, I love the Dino skeleton stamp :)
Thanks, Karen. Glad you enjoyed it.
Thanks Ted another great video! Still working thru my Great Britain mixtures from Swann...Thanks for recommending them!
Thanks, Bill.
Hi, Ted!
It's always a pleasure to watch your videos. Thanks! Unlike you, I collect only mint stamps, although I do have some old cancelled ones, too. Some of them seem to be quite valuable. I must have gotten them some fifty years ago, but for the life of me I can't remember how or why I got them. I started subscribing to all new stamps from the Nordic countries and from the Isla of Man. In particular, I wanted to have all of Czesław Słania's works. Eventually I stopped collecting in the early 1990s, but now in the self-imposed isolation I have taken it up again, with my trying to make she Słania collection complete. It's almost done - only a few dozen remain to acquire, but they are easy to find. Also, I used to take a lot of photographs, the best of which I posted on Flickr. That went well, I have thousands of photos with more than 2,000 views on average. For the last few months I have instead posted pictures of stamps in an attempt to popularize stamp collecting. The success is not spectacular; I have to be happy if the stamp pictures get a few hundrd views. If you have the time, take a look! Open Flickr.com and search for my name, or go directly to the album containing only stamps, here: flic.kr/s/aHsmUCK4oH.
I’m glad to hear you got back in to stamp collecting. Słania stamps are also favorites of mine. Photography has also been a lifelong hobby of mime. I will check out your Flickr page.
@@tedtalksstamps Thanks for taking the time to reply! I hope you like the stamp pictures. I have tried to choose interesting and/or beautiful stamps, and add a lot of information both about the stamps and the motifs, acting a little like a school teacher.
Always look forward to and appreciate your videos. Ted, your approach to dealing with, sorting as well as analyzing your purchase helps to clarifiy things considerably. Thanks! 👍😎🎯
Thank you, Steven. I’m glad you find them helpful.
Awesome :-)
Thank you, Nisarg.
I just finished the same mixture of Malta stamps. I had 105 different stamps and 248 duplicates, so pretty similar between orders from Swan.
Sounds good. Have you tried any other Swan mixtures?
@@tedtalksstamps I got 4 other mixtures, but it takes me a long time to soak everything off due to work and family. Will update you when I get them done.
@@michaeldraper3707 looking forward to it. If you like, I'll go over your results and your impressions of the mixtures in a video.
Hello Ted! You said, typical cat valie for used stamps is 20%, and what's typical for mnh stamps? Thank you!
Hi Viktoria. You can find many mnh stamps at 20% of cv, especially the most common stamps with dozens, if not hundreds, of listings available. Others that are less plentiful will sell for a higher percentage. I rarely spend as much as 40% of cv for a stamp or set.
What are you using to dry these bowlsful of stamps?
The Desert Magic Drying Book. It is a must-have item, if you are going to do much soaking.
@@tedtalksstamps I have one of their smaller sized books, and love it - I imagine you're using several full-size!
@@angiepaulson6591 No, I only have one small book. I really need to buy 1 or 2 full size books.
