- I show you how to fix a Fitbit watch where you are trying to connect to phone, pair or sync but you get the message, "Something went wrong. Connection with the device timed out..",. Watch how i troubleshoot this to finally fix it. This should work on the Fitbit Versa, Versa 2, Versa 3, Versa 4, Versa Lite and the Fitbit Sense and Sense 2. Hope this helps.

Cool! All I had to do was to long press my Fitbit until it restarted. So frustrating that FitBit did not mention this. Thank you for suggesting this. Very helpful!

Had already tried restarting phone and fitbit and also toggling bluetooth (single time). Somehow toggling it 3 times worked!! Thanks a ton!!
Hi, can you help me. I can pair it okay, but then it says it needs updating. Once I start updating it connects for a millisecond and then it says “trying to connect.” So the verse 4 doesn’t recognize the phone nearby

i appreciate the tips, mines doesn't work after i tried the 3rd method, but it might my Bluetooth is probably messed up but some how the Bluetooth work with my headphones, I don't know why?

Unfortunately, none of these steps worked for me. Any other suggestions? All I see on my Fitbit Versa 3 screen is the Fitbit logo.

i got a bew fitbit n had a hard time trying to sync it to my phone. Fitbit customer help was not helpful at all.

My Fitbit versa came to a big big trouble during the first setting up accordingly...
At first it seemed normally to download the update setting with the green line processing on the device when loaded a half then stopped. (wifi processing ) and my phone showed me Try again, It might be my fault change to the Bluetooth connection again then the fitbit device couldn't find the Bluetooth or wifi again.
(The fitbit had been loaded firmware but not completed) then I tried to hard factory reset
but in vain.
The device had repeated again n again the reminding data.
( disconnect Bluetooth or WiFi made it refresh., seemed to be halted just shown fitbit logo and part of green update firmware on watch ....
How can I erase the old firmware let it refresh and let the update setting initialization..
Tاhaks a lot. My sumsung galaxy watch 4 classic isnit accurate in sleep tracking and I want a good sleep tracker. I heared that fitbit watches are the best to achieve this. We have in tunisia only three models of fitbit: versa, varsa 2 and charge 3. which one of them would you advise me to buy for sleep trucking only. I will use my sumsung all daylong and the fitbit only for sleep but I have read that versa 2 becomes useless after a few months of owning it has many issues concerning sync and it gives up sleep tracking after a short period. Please advise me.

I've done this about 5 times this morning, enter the 4 digit code, it says it's connecting to Fitbit but then I get that error message again.

Mine gets to the pairing party, where you enter the digits, but then “something’s gone wrong” and the only option is to abort. I’m going to try everything you did, but further advice would be great!
Hmm… try this the… restart phone and tracker…. Then go somewhere away from ur current room as another device may cause interference.
My charger is not working. So I bought a new one. And now it doesn't connect to the mobile.
Is it important to have the original charger of versa?
My phone can not find my versa to set it up it just keeps telling me to make sure it is in the charging cradle which it is

This is not working for me😢, I guess I'm going to try calling support. Because nothing I've tried have worked.
I tried it and it did not work. The Fitbit logo is on; the app icon shows a phone and watch icon but I deleted the Fitbit app deleted the Bluetooth connection to my sense because it was not working and I thought I’d start fresh with everything but nothing has worked. if anyone gets this, please reply because I can’t figure this out in Fitbit was useless and unhelpful as usual.

Tried for like 3 days to get mine to fully sync properly. Airplane mode finally did it when literally nothing else did.
I cant get my sense off of the fitbit app symbol. I have tried everything.
My problem is, I can put in the code and it goes back to "Not Working?" Try again. No matter how many times I try it will not connect.

fitbit customer service has not been able to help :( the call keeps "dropping"
Have tried almost everything, except smashing my Versa 2SE against the wall for the last three months. Tried Android phone, iOs, Android tab, issue remains. Nothing seems to work, it appears to be a software issue which thr stupid company is too proud to admit. They even sent me a new replacement pebble, which still has the same sync issue. My Mi bands have worked well for all these years despite the reputation of Chinese items

Go to Bluetooth and disconnect from Fitbit if connected then reconnect it back to Bluetooth.

tried all of this. my final solution was to delete the fitbit app and throw away the watch. going to buy an apple watch which i know will work
