I was a fan of Ted Kord, thank you Wonder Woman for killing Maxwell Lord. Having said that while I won't lie I rolled my eyes at the relaunch it was very well done and I enjoy the character. I'm not a big fan of comparing power levels because frankly different times meant at least In part the publishers were looking to do something specific. The only part I don't care for is the why the "Reach" were just crammed into a let's be honest a rather crowded outer space. The somewhat snarky scarb is good but I just wish dc hadn't shoved in yet another group it feels like the next reboot could get rid easily
It's also weird how all of the three Beetles had different powers; with the first one being Magic, the second one being a Vigilante, and the third being Sci-Fi tech

In this case, I am referring to a 1985 Manga called Bio Booster Armor Guyver. it spawned two series one in 1989 (which is all on UA-cam in English) and one in 2005. In it, a teenage Shō Fukamachi is out with his friend when they find a mysterious object. Sho picks it up and mistakenly activates it. The object fuses with Sho and is revealed to be a suit of living armor created by an alien race. There was an American live-action movie with beloved Joker actor Mark Hamil, he played an FBI agent not the Guyver. The live-action is mediocre and the Guyver itself doesn't look too great
