Very nice video! And I agree that Labries have a hard time with Recycling. Lots of cardboard, packing, etc. honestly, Labrie trucks are good for trash. Maybe green waste if it doesn't get that crazy. Nice video once again! Happy 4th!
the driver said his other days are easier since the loads are a lot more dirty and contaminated, which results in everything being heavier and easier to pack. on the first day it was out, it was on a relatively clean route, so stuff was just piling on top and it wasn't getting pushed down
From what I heard from my trash guy. He said that all of Garden city sanitation trucks will go to California waste solution for recycle. And garden city sanitation will get new McNeilus Autoreach. Only bad part about that Is MNeilus kinda tend to lose the 32 Otto classic easier. This should start in late 2020 or early 2021. We may get new ipl carts or get reigh carts. Saw garden city cart truck giving out 64 gallon ipl cart to residents.
almost none of that makes sense at all 1. CWS is still 100% diesel down here, so that means if they were to inherit anything from GCS, they would have to make new fueling stations or figure out how to refuel elsewhere 2. GCS has personal ties to their truck supplying company, which almost exclusively supplies labrie 3. GCS's fleet is 13 years old, why would CWS want a well worn fleet unless they plan to convert to CNG at a cheaper cost 4. GCS or their affiliates have not bought a single McNeilus side loader ever, so why would they 5. mechanics at GCS and CWS would have to get retrained on the completely different trucks and cabs their fleet is now made up of 6. CWS almost only buys from Peterbilt, and GCS's original fleet is 100% Autocar 7. drivers would have to get retrained 8. drivers at CWS from what i have heard prefer the McNeilus trucks because of the different things the arm can do that others cannot, plus i just heard recently that CWS is going to demo a brand new McNeilus unit some time soon, so why would they go through the hassle of demoing a McNeius unit if they're just gonna inherit GCS's 100% labrie fleet
Garbage Trucks of San Jose my driver 604 Bob F. Was saying that they most likely will be buying new Autoreachs. This is all supposed to happen in 2021 if there license isn’t suspended with the city. He driver even said he would Prefer the truck he has. He said it was all up to the company to make that decision.
Garbage Trucks of San Jose and if CSW does end up buying auto cars. Then they would probably not take it from GCS and buy there own. I was told by my driver last week when I followed him in his route. I told him that CSW was using one your trucks for demo. So I showed him the picture that you posted. To which he responded. We are already told by our company that we will most likely get Autoreach next year if our contract stays. Idk but from my driver experience SJ13, he doesn’t like the autoreachs bc if he Isn’t paying attention when emptying the carts lid can open when he is setting it down. He was saying that Autocars might be better bc we can control the arm. I don’t know if you can slow down the arm.
@@refusecollectionofsanjose CWS is 100% guaranteed to buy Peterbilt, so it isn't a matter of Pete/Autocar, more of a matter of sticking to their historic truck manufacturer, which has been Labrie for GCS and their companies, and McNeilus/Heil for CWS
Ok we will see what happens in 2021. My driver said we may try different trucks. But seems like me may get new trucks. But kind on the same boat as you. They may get new trucks but stick with the company. But GCS is definitely getting new Trucks, from what my driver heard from management
@@MidwestTrashTrucks local driver i talked to actually doesn't like the M/As for recycling, they pack less, and stuff always falls in between the arm and out of the hopper
@@MidwestTrashTrucks Actually since I made this comment a year ago, I have since started driving a side loader and I can definitely say cardboard is a royal pain in the ass lol.
The more I watch these labries the more I like them
Great job on the video👍🏻

Great video! Hope CWS decided to get Labrie, it would look good in their colors. Also liked the clip of manual packing! Nice work!
any truck would look nice in CWS's colors lol, one of the few companies around here that don't oversaturate their trucks with a ton of white
Labrie is number 1 in my opinion!! Mcneilus are the worst!!
Awesome I love this truck excellent video dude.
Nice job!

Recycling I think is hard on any side loader when there is a lot of cardboard. I wonder what the best side loader for recycling would be?
Mike3141981 McNeilus MAs actually handle it pretty well
recycling is always difficult to haul since all of the cardboard and dry & lighter stuff doesn't pack as well as the heavy wet stuff like garbage
