- I've got too many colouring books for my book shelf, they won't all fit on! So it's time to thin them out a bit and only keep the ones I know I will definitely use and love. So join me as a I curate my collection and destash the ones I know I won't use.

Mouse Guard and Ink House were my first two coloring books I purchased when I found the coloring community at the end of 2019. I saw them on a you tube channel and absolutely had to have them. They are still my absolute favourite. And yes I have colored in both.

If you love vintage illustrations (I do as well) there is a guy on YT who does a huge series of videos featuring the artists, with tons of samples of their work and their biography. It's amazing and has been going on for years. They are also extremely relaxing to watch because his voice is like velvet. His name is Pete Beard and I highly recommend.
I loved Enid Blyton Books, The Magic Faraway Tree I Read An Re Read Them. I Also Read Them To My Sons, An Now My Granddaughters
It's so strange how something physical can bring back memories isn't it? The memories are there but then it's hard to get rid of anything associated with the memories. Never an easy decision to make, well done Lily.
I've just decluttered my books & Circle of Life has gone, plus most of my cheapie Works books.😊
That's so true Judith. I think I've got rid of all my cheapy Works books too... except one (the Comic Covers one). Circle of Life is still on my shelf... for now... but if I don't colour in it in the next 3-6 months it's a gonna 😅🥰
About to do the exact same thing - lost my mojo for colouring completely and I’m back to photography with a passion. Very few books and supplies I’ll be keeping.
I find when I have too much stuffs I get overwhelmed and lose my mojo. Good Luck with your decluttering 🥰

Just been through all of mine and i had more than you lol i got rid of more than half i moved to a smaller place at the beginning it was easy but as i got down to favourites and still had no space it hurt lol i took solace in that someone else will get enjoyment out of them

I was lucky to be gifted Mouse Guard by Sara from Chronic Colouring Down Under. Love that book! I don't feel like a daredevil 😅 just a bit lighter from clearing through the books I'll never use 🥰

No, I colour downstairs, in the lounge, in the dining room, in the Motorhome...
I wouldn't have kerby rosanes books in my house for love or money. Totally dark and creepy. There's something wrong in the coloring community that there is so much emphasis on the occult.
The animal based ones are ok but after the first 3 books they got started getting too weird for me! The merged things like a hedgehog with stuff growing out of its back creep me out too.
