Hey! I feel so lucky to find your video. You just posted it 2 weeks ago and have decided to clean up my notebook today. I was confused as to why the back panel didn’t want to go off. Would have never guessed that you have to pull off the keyboard first. But in my case, when I pull up the keyboard it doesn’t go up with the black layer. Only the panel between the keys goes up. Don't know what to do. Don't want to damage anything

Not sure what you mean by the black layer - the keyboard has a black bottom, but that is very much part of the keyboard and not a separate thing. If the screws holding the keyboard in place are removed then it comes off as shown.
Note that there are two screw mounts on the bottom of the keyboard - the DVD drive is one and the other more obvious.

Yeah, I was talking about the black bottom. Yesterday I tried again and managed to pull it off. It didn’t go as smoothly as in your video. I had to use much more power and was scared to damage it. But everything was alright. Thank you very much for the video!

If you use a spudger to release the clips then you can't really do any damage - but the clips are pretty strong and need to be released by pushing ion exactly the right places.
Glad you've got it sorted though.
