You're one of my favorite youtube gamers, because your passion for the game you're playing is so clear in everything you do. I don't hate your newer content which seems more focussed on just spectacle, but I miss the days when all you did was play a game you love.
No rush it means you can't attack the enemy and you set the time,for example I usually set the no rush time for 20 minutes wich means no player can troops in the first 20 minutes,therefore,you can't attack because you don't have troops.
On a completely unrelated note. I used to play this when I was a kid. I recently bought some undeveloped land and it reminded me of constructing castles. If you really think about it, this is a method of learning new skills through simulation.

Send 10 knights alone against whole army or bunch of assassins in frontal assault against crossbowmen, than send out 10 or how many archers shielded but totally in open ground without support... well this is not how you play Stronghold. He is not moderrate, he is just trying to copy your style and it doesn't work.

Don't bother putting up towers either because they last a split second against someone with 100s of catapults. Your towers will be gone and so will your archers. Put up a simple wall, moat behind it (to stop assassins) and focus on best economy instead.. your attack and defense are catapults.. and if catapults are disabled, then horse archers behind shields and assassins both offense and defense.

It's just that you're lucky to be able to gather as many troops as possible. And more unfortunate, he was in a position not standby when you attack :)

Yes,they can,but I barely use them,slaves are faster and cheaper to make,but I need to make sure I use them after I clear the enemy defenses.
