My guess is that one of the old presidents got it. But there's no reason to spend the gold for United States government, because they print the dollars. I could see them buying more gold with dollars if anything.

So from the copper perspective, the reasoning is that the abundance of copper is 1000X as much and we arrive at about a 9X increase in value for silver. But, can it be argued that it's not that silver is under priced but copper is overpriced? Might be interesting to do an across the board comparison with other metals like nickel ,or zinc. Another thought-provoking video, thanks!
I was told by a person that worked in Park City mining in Utah, that there was enough silver there to cover the nations needs. But, it can't be economically mined now due to water flooding problems. If true, we see one example of how keeping silver price so low that the harder to get silver fruit can't be picked. This, I am told, is thanks to the ludicrous artificial silver price manipulation by persons at the nexus of control.

Great vid! One minor correction--when you convert pounds of Copper to ounces (oz) and come up with $4 / lb Cu / 16 oz / lb = $0.25 / oz Cu. Metals are measured in units of troy ounces (ozt) and the conversion is 12 ozt for 1 lb. Hence, $4 / lb Cu / 12 ozt / lb ~ $0.34 / ozt Cu 😃

Ron, the largest producer of silver, Mexico--is restricting open pit mining and could easily start a shocking trend if silver goes up dramatically as you describe here: nationalization. Do we really believe smaller mining countries would just sit back and allow a precious resource go up 10X without any political re-pur-cush? If silver price has been repressed, what new fact would change this? I think we'll just run out. (Or so we will be told.) Which begs my next question: what would happen to platinum if silver is unavailable? And my next biggie is--are platinum mines not in the same districts and countries as silver? Looks like South Africa is the next winner winner chicken dinner--followed by Canada. I guess what I'm implying is to ask you to take a look at "safe" jurisdictions and deep dive into Mexico's political situation.

When we look at the dollar to silver ratio, does the debt clock take into account the dollar to gold ratio of gold coming out of the ground per year also. They are both coming out of the ground every year. So if they don't take both into account, ofcourse it's going to look like way to many dollars are being printed... just saying...
I have to agree with those with a more tempered opinion. I like your videos but prices are still manipulated by big players like JPMorgan with a very large open interest of what may still be around 40% of the relatively small silver market compared to gold. They have been guilty of naked shorting and buying the dip. I wish it was only about fundamentals and supply and demand and at some point they may be powerful enough to overwhelm the market and the paper market not backed by metal but that may be some way off. I do believe the price will go up soonish though, but due to flight to safely as a hedge against a weakening dollar or some other reason like a gold standard. Eventually the fundamentals will overwhelm the market positively if the supply actually gets tight and a silver shortage actually occurs.
The anticipated FED interest cut should help though in the immediate term I agree.
Copper ounce as you calculated is not a Troy ounce. Silver as we use the term ounce or Toz or ozT is in troy ounces which are 1/12 of a Troy pound.

All those out there keep saying the end is near have no idea about the reality of it, Price is controlled, they in power will never let the true price equalise, no not going to happen. Silver is massively used in so many things, do you realise what will happen to every product? laptops, phones, batteries, solar panels, world markets will collapse.
