Maria made a selfish vote. She went against everything she told him throughout the game. Her theory was if she couldn’t win, she didn’t want Charlie too either. So much for her “Uncle Charlie”

This is why you vote out a Kenzie over a Venus. Why you vote out a Kenzie over a Q. Why you vote out a Kenzie over a Liz. I know there’s other strategic concerns, but you can never underestimate the power of someone that likable when it comes down to a subjective jury vote. You think they’ll base it on game alone cuz that’s what they say, but it’s rarely that straightforward. Survivor is a social game first and foremost. Brutal for Charlie, amazing and deserved for Kenzie.
In a season of 18 and where most moves are shared and the people driving the votes are all voted off, you’re left off with sheeps so ofc they’re gonna vote the most likeable sheep

Honestly it was going to be Charlie that won. The thing that sold Kenzie was the sob story she told at the very end. You just gotta know your jury and play to that. Some juries care about actual gameplay and others obviously don’t
@lauryn5701 Nah, Charlie fumbled his ftc, if you go back, his answers and the way the jury responded to him were so off, meanwhile Kenzie repeatedly had people bolstering her in the jury, which speaks to who has the better social game.

@@kyojin2455The hint that Kenzie was favored by the jury was pretty much shown during the firemaking tiebreaker. Several of them were distressed when it looked like she wasn't going to make it, but then looked very happy when she did.

Love Kenzie, she played a great game (especially an amazing social game) and had a very very good speech in this ftc, but to me Charlie had way more control than I feel Kenzie ever had all the season. It’s a bummer he didn’t win and I can feel his disappointment when he understood he lost :( (he better come back soon)
Regardless of that I’m still happy for Kenzie she’s an okay winner to me, and if the jury decided she deserved it then she deserved it

this time im all for kenzie to win while simultaneously feeling sorry for charlie coz he did play better strategy...but in the case of michelle aubry, aubry was robbed and you have jurors like scott who was just pure bitter

Charlie was absolutely a smart player, but Kenzie overcame bigger odds to make it to the end. Ultimately, Charlie's biggest mistake was in assuming his only finals threat was Maria. Hindsight is 20/20, but if Charlie could redo the finals of the game, I bet he would volunteer to make fire against Kenzie, in the process convincing Ben to take Liz to the final three.
Jury was so ass, Charlie is the clear winner, only here having a game, Kenzie was mid but didnt deserve to go to final 3 for only being friendly with others. Jury voted with their emotions

She went to every tribal council except for 2, knew who was going home every time except for the Tiffany vote & won the fire making challenge against Liz (who the jury didn’t really like all that much). I’m really surprised that Maria didn’t vote for Charlie though.
Maria is a true villain. Could have made it a tie for “Uncle” Charlie and he’d probably win the tiebreaker from Ben. Instead she sunk her #1 😂

@@kingrob7551 I think it makes sense for Tiff to vote for Kenzie just because they have that really close bond. It's hard to separate clear logic to strong emotions. Q is understanding, but sees the money as something that may be life changing, so I understand his decision. I think Tevin thinks like that too, but I thought he was more logical than emotional. I thought Tevin would've voted for Charlie. Hunter is clearly a logical person making his decision very clear. Soda is also logical. Liz said she would've voted for Ben just because Ben complimented her just showing that she is over her head. However, she ended up voting for Charlie because of something he said in the tribal council. Venus probably voted for Kenzie because she was the nicest to her and because Venus just talks about woman empowerment. As a woman, I think that's a stupid reason to vote someone to win in a game. Then, obviously, Maria's vote is the one that is most talked about because it makes 0% sense. Clearly shows that she is a salty bitch.
That being said, I think if Kenzie didn't talk about her upbringing, which I found to be completely manipulative and irrelevant to a game, I think Tevin would've voted for Charlie and then Ben said he would've voted for Charlie making Charlie win. So the honest swing vote was Tevin.

Survivor doesn’t make as much money for CBS compared to year 2001. Viewership numbers ain’t what it used to be. You can tell because we need the unhinged Applebee’s sponsorship to keep survivor on air
I know 1 million was worth more when the show started in 2000 but inflation has happened. The winner is left with less than a million after taxes are taken out so they better know how to invest it properly instead of blowing it all quickly
@@sun2damoon24 The person is implying that survivor should increase the winning amount. It should be like 1.5 or 2 million. By the time Uncle Sam takes the 1 million, it'll probably be around 600K.

Honestly I almost felt like at the final tribal the jury wouldn’t let Charlie talk and defend himself and instead laughed at him.. it felt very petty. And not only that, some of the reasoning the jury gave for voting Kenzie had nothing to do with the game, but her story about working since 15 and stuff. I guess I just feel some kind of way about people not voting according to the gameplay. Of course the person with the hardest life deserves money the most, but that’s not the point of Survivor. Regardless of background, everyone had to play the same game… then I guess part of Survivor is also making the jury like you. Just pettiness all around lol
No at final tribal everytime he gaves answers they were always wrong cause he acted like he made moves or did things that he never did. So it felt like he was trying to steal others moves or choices cause the jury even said “that did not happen” multiple times. So in my opinion Kenzie owned her game unlike Charlie and spoke to exactly how she played. Very social and aligned with everyone and made small moves that were barely noticeable that allowed her to keep scooting to the end
Ppls are forgetting FIVE PPL VOTED Kenzie to win not just one and she doesnt owe her vote to anyone. So much smoke what about jury mgmt by Charlie? Could have been better.

There arent many times where someone dominates strategic games and makes it all the way to the end to have an edge over the other finalist who are more likeable socially
Yeah but the edit almost seemed to suggest that her social game actually wasn’t as strong as Charlie’s. We got all that footage of her helping Ben throughout the night, only for Ben to ultimately choose Charlie to sit next to him at FTC - and risk losing Kenzie to fire.
Also - her closeness with Ben somehow caused him to write HER name down at a Tribal where she could have gone home if Venus played her idol. 😂
Plus if we go backwards a bit - Kenzie wanted to buddy up to Charlie and Maria to work with them on a Tiffany blindside…only for them to choose to cut her out of it. They didn’t want to work with her and didn’t trust that she wouldn’t tell Tiff.
Kenzie’s lack of social game is also what caused her to have yet ANOTHER ally of hers blindsided behind her back - Hunter. He trusted her word that he didn’t need to play his idol…because that’s what she really believed…and it led to his downfall when SHE still needed/wanted him in the game. But her social game wasn’t strong enough to be let in on info from those who were in other alliances, otherwise she would have been aware that Hunter needed to play his idol.
If we go back further - both Q and Tiff preferred and trusted EACH OTHER over Kenzie. She was purposefully kept in the dark about their secret little “alliance of 6” even though they should have felt closer to her than to these other people they only met at merge. Only when their own relationship imploded did Tiff come to Kenzie as a sort of last resort.

To me social and strategy are two skills to have on survivor, alongside challenge strength even though it is less vital.
Here Kenzie has the best social game out of everyone, not denying it at all. But on the other hand she didn’t seem like she was the most in control when it comes to strategy. While Charlie had a very good social game but also a pretty good social game as he was close to Ben and Maria, making connections to work with Liz, Kenzie and also Venus, and not to mention he was very good on challenges. So to me it feels like only the social game was seen on the winner voting decision and because Kenzie had the best one of all made Charlie seem like he had not a good social game which he did. He was the most complete contestant out of the 3 therefore to me he was the most deserving to win.
But his ftc performance was maybe lacking something when Kenzie was able to sell it…

What I don't get is why they thought Liz was a big threat? She was female Ben. I sat there telling my wife Charlie needs to ask Ben to send him to fire against Kenzie. Charlie does that and wins, game over. He's sitting up there with Ben and Liz who, combined, have no resume.

@@bomberdawesomeThere was a press interview that stated that Ben votes for Charlie if the vote tied (maybe). Charlie really might have needed just one more vote. Sad that he lost, but Kenzie did very much deserve to win. Probably one of the best players at making personal relationships we’ve seen

It was pretty clear Charlie was pissed AF when Maria explained why she chose Kenzie during the after show. I think their friendship is snuffed big time lol.
Soda, Hunter, and Liz made a rational and reliable jury vote on how the game panned out. The rest of the jury are biased and sour. One of the worst jury ever, they didn't let the final three articulate their game, some shitty timer was even brought up, like wtf Probst can't even set that as final tribal mechanic like wtf did you just do Tiff? your words are true you're cocky as hell.
I had similar thoughts. It felt very petty…like let the jury talk and defend themselves. Not every move and gameplay is going to be explainable within the same time limit. It really did feel very sour. Not the most likable jury ever.

I liked all three but Kenzi should not have won because of Liz helping her win that last competition. It's an individual competition and that was cheating. Yes, Maria showed her hateful, petty nature by voting against Charlie.

Love how Kenzie mentioned at fire making that her season started off without fire and that it was ironic her season ended with her making fire. People seem to forget she started with absolutely nothing and still made it to the end. Like she said, her social game was her strategy. She was always in the correct spot in the game to where she didn’t have to burn any bridges or step on any toes to win the game.

I accepted that Kenzie won, period! But the production edit tried so hard to put Kenzie ahead of Charlie and they failed. We can’t deny that Charlie played better, but Kenzie won fair & square.

The contest is more about riding the coattails of dominant players, flimsy alliances, and influencing the jury than it's about outwit, outplay, and outlast. Moreover, there are too many advantages, and unwise players reavealing their advantages to gain trust.

In reality she’d be a 0 vote finalist and would have gotten probably contradicted and roasted by the jury every time she tried to take credit for a play. What even was her strategy? Where exactly did Kenzie mention a charity? That was the boys who did, she was truthful and said she was using it for herself. And Kenzie seemed to do all of those things in my eyes. To each their own own I guess.
The four strong players blew it by not using their idols. The show has now revolves into getting all the strong players out first. So winning strategy is not win too many challenges early and sit back until later in the game and finish strong.

I personally thought Charlie played a better game, and maybe deserved it a little bit more but Kenzie played a good game as well and had great relationships so no complaints about the winner! charlie looked heartbroken though when he heard kenzies name and not his. love how he handled himself though. The question Q asked, and Kenzie's heartfelt response was pivotal in her winning survivor 46. Charlie should have been better in swaying the jury given he is a law student.
Kenzie should not have been one of the last 4. I thought they were suppose to be able to prove they could win on their own & it took 2 of them to win it. My daughter never missed Survivor, if she was still alive tonight would have been her last time of watching

Maria's reason for voting for Kenzie because of seeing her as a competitor in the fire making was pure bull sh8. Had she already forgotten that the reason why she sat on the jury was because Kenzie was so incompetent for needing Liz's help to win the challenge where Maria could’ve won otherwise? It’s either she’s dumb to forget that or she’s just masking her spite for not voting for Charlie. Not that I liked Charlie to win, though. The guy was insufferable.

It seems like Tevin was really on the fence about choosing either Charlie or Kenzie. I heard that Tiff was really pro Kenzie in Ponderosa. I wonder that if Tiff was more so neutral, if Tevin would've voted for Charlie instead? He may have been persuaded by other people to consider Kenzie as the winner because Tevin seems like a logical person and I would've thought he would've voted for Charlie but I guess the emotional story from Kenzie drove it home for him which upsets me that Kenzie did that.

Kenzie and Charlie both played a really good game I know by Charlie face he was not happy with the outcome but Kenzie gave better answers to the questions and Charlie probably should have stepped up and did the fire challenge that could have gave him a extra vote from someone
Something that affects the game is when someone gets injured from a winning tribe and they do not go to the tribal council at the losing tribe. It would be fair if the losing tribe still has to go tribal if they lose. That would have changed the whole game. But, for some reason, they do not do it on Survivor (even when they have one or two tribal councils later on with double elimination). When a winning tribe loses a member for some medical issue (outside of their control), it feels more like a punishment for them and a reward for the losing tribe. Still, Charlie and Kenzie played fairly well compared to Ben. Probably a 55-45% in favour of Charlie (I think Maria did him a bit dirty, but still it could have been still a win for Kenzie).

In the end, Charlie talked a good game, and he had a decent strategic mind, but he waited too long to separate from Maria. The best time to do it was at F7. But he let Venus's coyness scare him out of the move, and he just went with the crowd. By F6, Maria was on nearly everybody's hit list, anyway, so it really didn't matter if he targeted her.
Venus, Q, Liz, and Ben were not winning Survivor. Charlie's biggest mistake was in assuming Maria was his only threat in the finals. Even if Maria had voted for Charlie, and then Ben broke the tie in Charlie's favor, 5-4 would have still been closer than expected for a player so many viewers thought was the obvious winner choice.
Thanks Maria!😂 The look on Charlie's face 😳 knowing Maria voted against him was priceless! Charlie thought flipping on Maria was smart when Ben was his locked jury vote to win the milliion.
I saw the disappointment in his body language as well. I don't believe there will be much of a friendship with him and Maria going forward.

Kenzie played amazingly with her heart, brain and body. Maybe Charlie played a more strategic game, but he needed that extra vulnerability people naturally gravitate towards at FTC.

Yeah I think he played a better game than Kenzie , no one was trying to get rid of her , no one said she was a big threat.
I’m happy Kenzie won, but this season overall was pretty terrible. From Yanu losing so many times yet still no tribe switch, Liz’s outburst about Applebees (watching this gave me Brandon Hantz from Caramoan all over again), Maria’s ridiculous and unnecessary comments abt who she was gna pick on reward and choosing Q anyway even tho there were clearly other ppl starving, not to mention NO idols that were played successfully and mostly ended up going home with them (???), and lastly Charlie playing a phenomenal game yet losing it just because Maria was salty and also because the final tribal this season was so ridiculous and rude, like what happened to the “outwit outplay outlast” version of final tribal? Ultimately led to the bitter jury asking completely irrelevant questions and even cutting Charlie off while he was trying to prove his game???? Asking the final 3 how they would spend the prize money shldnt even be allowed LOL. Kenzie was a good player but Charlie definitely deserved to win. He got robbed.
The only two ways a straight man will win Survivor are:

2) The women in f3 are on Cassidy's level of likability, which is -10.

Charlie is awesome! Kenzie is the most wonderful, sweetest person! People should learn from her. However, I think Charlie deserved the win. He played the best game. And I really hope he never speaks to that horrible Maria again. She obviously has no ethics, morals, or problems stabbing someone in the back! He doesn't need or deserve any narcissist snakes in his life. I wouldn't trust that lady sociopath for the life of me.
