@Galaxie989 100% man! That Cover, i mean, screw Eddie from IM lol, the *Abominog* was the real shit!! :) A Definite Great Hard Rock album if there ever was. Dennis 63 years Austin, TX
As a Sabbath fan since 71 and priest fan since 78 in the early 70's Heep were one of the big four heavy British bands. Sabbath, purple , Zeppelin, Heep. Abominog is a killer album. It might just be enough to stomp Iron maiden into the ground.
Here with Trevor Bolder back after a while on Wishbone Ash. Bob Daisley played bass on the Abominog_1982 and Head First_1983 albums... It's really a shame Trevor Bass is so low volume sound in this video, he's a fantastic bass player, one of my usual favorites, RIP Trevor ...!
Abominog is a very underrated and brilliant album. I love every song. Peter Goalby era is the best!!!!! He is my favorite singer and a great writer too. This is a wonderful song that blends together a smoothie of Uriah Heep heavy and Thin Lizzy rock and roll and I drink down every drop and then have it all over again. Shitty metaphor on purpose hah hah hah! This really is a great song and a perfect vocal performance. I'm also spot on about the Thin Lizzy emotion level I just was being silly with a silly metaphor. Uriah Heep on a serious note are the best heavy band ever together with Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, and Queen.
Pete and bernie are great singers..think it over is Peters song and he sings it better than sloman...but i have to agree byron and Lawton were both magnificent singers..saw them many times in 70s 70 till 79..thats my favourite times with heep. Gigs and albums..

Lee Kerslake is a monster on the drums. "Abominog" was one of the GREAT albums of the 80's.

Uriah Heep has had a great run of bassists (Paul Newton, Gary Thain, Trevor Bolder, John Wetton, Bob Daisley, etc)
I love this song. Good playing by all. I didn’t know that was Lee Kerslake. He did an album with Ozzy too?

Peter Goalby era is not best and everybody, including Peter knows it. Only Abominog was a good album.
@@electronichome1153 I see it the same way...but Benjamin might feel different. I do prefer the Byron, the Lawton Aera..and later Shaw Aera...
Parece que foi um disco ignorado na época, eu acho maravilhoso .. tenho o Vinil e ouço com frequência
Loop 2:34

Goalby's era is the best in my opinion !
Bob Daisley on bass, wrote most of Ozzy’s first two albums, and lee kerslake... the original half of the Ozzy’s band, Blizzard of Oz
Yeah on the album, this live footage has Trevor Bolder.
That’s why this song sounds like Ozzy’s S.A.T.O.

Голбі - Бог вокала!!!!!!!!!!!!
Who is on keyboards here?
John Sinclair
WTF the singer dies in 85?
Byron died in 1985, not Goalby who is singing here and is still alive.
Worst audience ever?
