Good story, the highlight to me for a very bad day. I enjoyed it. Thanks Steve. It was a exciting story. Bears freak me out more than the big harry guy
What a great story! Reminds me of something I read many years ago, I think by Peter Capstick, a professional hunting guide from the glory days of Africa. A client shot a lion (I think). "Shoot it again," said Peter. "But it's already dead." "It's always the dead ones that kill you." I'll probably never hunt dangerous game, but I've never forgotten this lesson.
I hunted for years with my late father. Your stories really bring back the memories: so much so that I can hear and smell those days! Ha c e a blessed day, Steve.
Sandy Hill I most certainly don't hunt, either... or fish..or hike in the mountains...or camp out in the scary wilderness.. lol....but I LOVE this channel and I LOVE listening to Steve!! I only found this channel 4 days ago and I am totally hooked. He really does a great job making awesome quality vids with his awesome quality background and expertise on all things hunting and the like. I even just turned my hunter brother on to his channel. I'm sure he will enjoy it as much as I do. 😉 And, BTW...I want to send him a pair of gloves!!! I know he probably has dozens of heavy duty ones, but when he reads emails to us from the top of a snowy mountain, I KNOW his bare hands must be so cold!!! 😓
Haha you beat me to that comment. Lol I was thinking the same thing, just kinda mesmerized watching the fog while listening to Steve. Have a terrific day... Blessed with warm smiles& joyous laughter.
