Great job Mack. Think u done two jobs got rid of the branches logs. Also resurfaced the road lol. I have the timber wolf on tracks but currently getting it serviced. Take care.
What does it feel like when youre towing it? I imagine it rattles around which may lead to engine problems perhaps i dont know. Thinking of buying one. Thanks
It's a good machine for me because I only use 3 to 4 times a month and for the cost I paid for it about 1500 for a road towable 4.7 inch wood chipper I'm really happy with it and I think it's great for my business however if you were doing it full-time I don't think it would be the best machine you would need a bigger TimberWolf
3-4 times a month it looks fine for that. Have you looked into making some bigger sides for your trailer? With some bits of ply and posts you can build a box that you rachet strap down making it easy to take off when you don't need it. I'm looking forward to seeing some more videos of the chipper in other videos and how you have been finding it and problems.
You know you got a Remote Throttle Control on your engine under that there be a cross head screw if screwed out a bit it will put your revs up giving your chipper better air flow
It's been a good chipper and for what I paid for it I cannot complain I've not really had any problems with it yet starts first or second pull When you get it you will need to adjust the blades you want to put the washers in between the blades and the flywheel and it will make them stick out more and it would pull stuff through rather than you having to push it
I'm going to do a review of the machine soon I'll probably mention it in that Basically what I did is there are two washers in front of the blade all I did is removed one and put it in between the flywheel and the blade so the blades stick out by the smallest bit more but it made a lot of difference I will try and make a video of it I'm just struggling with time as really busy at the minute would love to make more UA-cam videos if I have the time Thanks have a nice day
Is a good machine however upgraded to timberwolf as doing jobs where there's 4 of us on site and it was struggling to keep up however is a good machine for the price
Hi is it just a case of putting 1 washer between the flywheel and blade or does anything else need adjusting due to the blade being out a bit more thanks
Cobra chipper was a great machine however it just was not big enough for the work I'm doing It's been sat in the corner of my garage taking up space I'll probably put it up on eBay
Keep up the hard work , but I wouldn't chip towards the road or blocking the path , because you can easily cause damage to vehicles or injury someone , also by blocking the path your causing people to walk across the road and if the injure themselves by doing some eg a car hitting them you are just at fault for the accident if one is caused
Is it gravity fed or is there in feed rollers pulling materials inwards? How does it do with dead conifer branch? Also silver birch (and other really stringy species branch fibres)? I run a hyundai hych7070, after a few years it's time for somthing a bit more capable. I am a pro tree surgeon so it will be used daily (anything bigger than it can take for chipping is kept and used for Firewood)
then you have to trim all twigs off the main branches. it is cheap machine any way. are you willing to pay a little more for a drum chipper on trailer?

Why did you go for the disc over the drum, Crytec do a drum version with the same size engine ? Trying to pick a side myself 😂. Great video kid, you will always get the negative elements who are all perfect in their daily work 🤨
@@gingermonsterjonnie cobra one was good for small jobs Crytek is good and I like the disc Style over the Drum as it's easier maintenance and doesn't stall as easily as a drum just upgraded to a TimberWolf tw18
Well done guys I’ve been doing this for a while now and it’s very rewarding tough at times but keep going and keep safe 👍

Get up there mate! This is definitely a weekend worrier set up. How do you find it after some more use.

That's a good idea
Not had any big problems with it yet
hi great to see a young man with motivation , could you tell me the tow speed ,towing the chipper , thanks
Maximum towing speed 50 mph
You know you got a Remote Throttle Control on your engine under that there be a cross head screw if screwed out a bit it will put your revs up giving your chipper better air flow
That's interesting I might need to give that a try thanks
Need to see how you made the improvements to get greenery through, arms still go a long way into the machine, not good at all !
How’s the chipper been day to day mate , have you had any issues with it . Thinking of buying one as a starting point 👍🌲🪓🪵

Hi Mack, how did you adjust the blade?

You need to adjust the anvill back and then put two washers between the blade and flywheel
Not to do it what he did with the washers

Much rather this machine to a drum chipper as much less likely to block I can take bigger stuff and less preparing before I put stuff in
