I just got my first Rolex 2 days ago, and I got a Submariner HULK. It was to celebrate a record breaking year in business. I love it and will have it for the rest of my life.
The blue two tone sub is timeless and superb.

Always appreciate your content and informative reviews, I have the white ceramic Daytona, GMT Batman with oyster but for the Sub I went Smurf white gold, talk about stealth and low key, most people do not know what it is and at low light looks like another black sub but in sunlight, it shows its unique beauty, and yes I am partial to blue
I have a Hulk and the original BLNR; both are amazing watches. My next want is the new BLNR. I know the Pepsi is more iconic, but I simply love the black and blue combination on the ceramic bezel.
I have the white face Daytona Rolex I paid $10.00 for it at second hand market I was amazed it is a ariginal I love it I have now had it for 10 years never misses a beat
If the Hulk is discontinued next year, the prices will go crazy. I am enjoying mine, but I wait with anxious breath to hear this from Rolex on the day. Good video as always Dylan.

What’s your opinion on the white gold oysterflex Daytona 116519LN?
When I bought the Ceramic Sub Mo Date I remember seeing the Batman and Hulk. I remember thinking they were strikingly beautiful but I had a hard time imagining wearing either one on a routine bases.
I resolved that I needed a watch that would work universally with any outfit , in any situation. I since have had my moments when I wonder if I had made the right choice seeing how valued these other pieces are now.
However I agree that had I purchased one of these flashier watches I would have been disappointed and desired the classic sub with matte bracelet.

Your video is focused on the London or NYC market, not in other emerging markets where wearing a black sub is more unique for obvious reasons. Best from Mexico City mate.
I just bought the two tone stainless and yellow gold Daytona last week. I love this model and the only time it is leaving my wrist is when I go to bed at night.
The Hulk was my first Sub, then the Bluesy. Black dials are pretty ubiquitous so it has to be spectacular for me to get a watch with a black dial. Might get a two tone black dial sub for my dad though. I’m looking for another luxury watch. I don’t travel much, so the GMT is not something I have looked at. I just cannot get myself to wear a watch without a date complication, so the Daytona is not something I am that drawn to despite the intrigue of the panda dial. I am looking at the AP Royal oak panda chronograph at the moment. Are there any similar panda time pieces that have a date complication?

Love the Sub, Black or Hulk. Classic watch. I like the Batman much more than the Pepsi, cleaner look to me. 3 colors on the bezel and dial are a little much for me but I can totally see why people like Pepsi. The Daytona is iconic
The Daytona has been the King of the Rolex range since its Origin..not just recent years..4 years ago you couldn't sell the GMT at RRP

My 3 Rolex’s for a desert island? Milgauss (blue), no-date Sub, Rose Gold (white dial) Daytona.
why does the date font on the GMT look thinner and smaller then the hulk even when the watches are positioned the same distance from the camera...there is definitely a noticeable difference
The batman is on my list, been on a waiting list for a year and half with no luck 😂 maybe one day the AD will ring the bat phone.

Rolex Explorer 2 42m white dail is the best Sports model out there and l love mine it gets more Wrist time than My Rolex Gmt!

I buy what I like and am not influenced by how many other folk are wearing the same model. This concept is academic because far less than one percent of the world's population wear a Rolex. I have worn the Submariner-date for 45 years. You are eloquent. Here is a tip: unique has no modifiers. There is no description as quite or very unique.

Rose gold is easy on the eyes and can be more easily worn as a daily. Imagine a two tone hulk in rose gold.

Why anyone would pay double for a ceramic Daytona beats me, don’t they look at other brands first like AP /VC for similar money. Thought I’d check out both dials when I noticed a couple of pre-owned examples and they are never worth anything over retail. They look and feel like a £10k watch nothing more. Ended up buying a much better value proposition the white gold ceramic version
