The casual kiss! Kate's hair and outfit in this clip! The colours are gorgeous. I'm a little curious why they've gone in a more modern direction with her hair and costume in my uneducated opinion, but I look forward to the costume video essays that should drop with S3!
Note: Kate was wearing blue (besides purple) in s2 as well, not just because it's a Bridgerton family colour but also because blue is strongly associated with South Asia, peacocks and indigo!

Idk a single fan, Polin shipper or not, who was happy about that STUPID Featherington side plot, it didn’t even do anything for Polin 😭
RIGHT??? That mines subplot didn't need to have anywhere near that amount of air time to set up 'problems' for Polin's storyline. All we needed to know is Penelope's struggles at home (much of which we already know from season one) and a little bit of growth for Colin (him exposing that the gems are fake) but that last bit for Colin could've just as easily been achieved with us seeing significantly less of Jack. It would've worked just as well for Jack's shady business to be happening in secrecy and then Colin's reveal would've been more dramatic to watch (in a good way). We didn't see Penelope's father doing as many bets as we know he did because we didn't need to actually see it happen on screen to understand the storyline.

Apparently the shawl attached to Kates dress is what married Indian women wore in those days. I just loved this sneak peek and yes I cant wait to see Kanthony but excited to see Polin finally come together and all the other wonderful characters in the Bridgerton world but I swear, they better not shove the featherington's in our faces again as much as they did in season 2, I'm telling you now I will fast forward every moment

I love the fact that they went for an ensemble it’s somewhat flows the usual format for romance series. You usually have one main relationship where the reader is introduced to the two main characters then introduced to minor characters. Usually one or more of the minor characters will get their own romance in the subsequent books.

Hi, my first time replying here. I've got obsessed by season 3 (not so much from the first 2 seasons even if I have enjoyed them for different reasons). But the trope "from friends to lovers" is kind of very romantic for me, plus, we know both the characters for now 2 seasons and we got to hope for some happiness for Pen. And if "brainless" Colin is her happiness... well I can't wait to see this story unfolded.
I spoilered myself something (which I will not share here) but here there are some thoughts about this clip (and the other one where Pen talks to Colin).
IMHO Violet is looking at Francesca when Anthony is walking away since the camera focus goes back to her.
Pen looking at her dress seems like thinking "The dress seems fine, I thought I would have looked great, why nobody is asking me to dance?"
This is why she says that she is "The laughing stock of the ton".
About the other clip where she confronts Colin:
I think he stays silent because he feels guilty. He would have explained himself if he had some sort excuse BUT I even think that if I was in Colin shoes (loving Pen as a friend) and potential suitors asked me if I was interested, I would have said "No" so that they know that they could pursue the girl.
What sounds odd is "Non even in your wild fantasies"... WHY?
Could have he said "No, we have been friend for so long that to me she is like a sister" or say something to boost her image? I even thought that Pen ran away over eavedropping too early and he finsish the sentence in a different way... so maybe he says that after... but wouldn't he have said that during the confrontation if that was the case?

I loved this clip because we needed to see kanthony happy and in love after all the angst of last season. They're definitely one of my favorite Bridgerton couples. I think Violet was making that face because we see a happy couple - Kanthony, and they go past and we see a grumpy Francesca. Maybe it is a caveat to her season. As Polin wraps up and everyone is involved romantically in someone, next being Benedict, maybe Francesca feels lonely. Maybe it shows she is having some trouble and we'll get her season before Eloise's?
I guess it’s up to all of us to keep watching the show (and in my case, making videos about it) so that it stays in people’s minds enough for us to make it to a Francesca season! Teamwork! 🎬🥳🫖
Sweet clip. Franchesca may indeed need a time alone at this juncture. You have to read the books. And indeed, Julia Quinn did write a prequel on Edmund and Violet so there is Canon story to go from.

Same here! I didn’t have strong opinions about a Polin story when it was first announced but I always had an open mind to them winning me over and now that I have actual glimpses of their story it’s easier to believe in it. 🥰
My thoughts about this clip:
In the Goodnight Mr Bridgerton clip, we see that it was Lady Danbury's house which means this clip is also from her house (first ball of the season).
I think Franchesca heard some gentlmen talking (we all know their thoughts) or maybe she is simply overwhelmed as those three in the background were still looking at her and that is why Anthony looks back at them.
Kate's dress is just amazing and her hairstyle😍. They both give her a modern look which I love. Her earings and bracelet she is wearing are totally giving that Indian touch.
I see Lord Debling in the background near that tree.
I think Penélope is sad because even after changing her wardrobe and look, no one is actually noticing her. Also I think after this clip, we'll definitely have a Cressida scene where she'll insult Penelope and that is why she was angry in the 'Goodnight Mr. Bridgerton' clip.
And Kate and Anthony dancing, smiling, being unapologetically happy is just everythingggg.

I don’t care if this is a spoiler but in the book there’s an offhand comment on how Anthony insists on dancing with his wife Kate way too many times to be considered socially appropriate in polite society and I NEED them to remark on this somehow during this season. I need a montage of endless scenes this season of a besotted, enamored Anthony pining away for his wife like he’s some hapless damsel even when she is right there, standing beside him.
Imagine a orchestral of Demi lovato’s ruin the friendship while Colin pines as pen is dancing with her other suitor.

You should read the books they won't take anything away from the Netflix adaptation except make you more excited!!! The stories do tend to stray from the books quite far. The books are as good as the series!
She has said in previous Bridgerton breakdowns that she’s waiting to read each book until after each season. Ex. She didn’t read the Kanthony book until after season 2, she’s waiting to read the Polin one until after season 3, and so on.
I think her saying she was.The laughing stock was more like a second dig.At him as in nobody has asked her to even dance other than him.And whenever she comes up into conversation even with him and other individuals they're laughing at her. Because we definitely seen the women be cold and straight out laugh at her.

So I see a lot of theories about Penelope being named Emerald of the Season. I believe if she was named that, she would’ve gotten more attention at the ball. But, we do see Francesca getting a fair bit of attention from suitors. She’s also wearing an emerald or green-like gem on her necklace. I think when Penelope said she was the laughingstock, she meant that people do not take her seriously and do not put her on the same pedestal as other women. I don't think she meant them laughing at her directly. Also, I took her actions in this clip as being awkward and sad that she still doesn't have anyone trying to dance with her.

Am i the only one who belives that Colin, when he said the iconic "Not even in your wildest dreams" nonsense, was cut short? That seen-before misunderstanding situation where a sentence is misinterpreted because the character left before hearing the rest... He could totally have added "She's far too good for me" or something along those lines, which we wouldn't have got to hear because Pen left running and of course for added shock value... He is an absolute dumb-dumb and i'm guessing this is too early an episode for this eventuality to be brought up and for him to answer back to Pen... Idk, what do y'all guys think? 🩵
