Im Entp (i think so), and ive actually looked into a lot of stuff on why I could or could not be an Entp + thinking abt my functions and everytime I've been convinced oh yeah I'm definitely an entp, somehow another thought convinces me otherwise haha, LIKE EVEN HERE I SAW THE FIRST REASON AND I WAS LIKE "I have no idea if I want to settle down so what am I"
Guess ill never know for sure what type I am but its fun to try figuring out
Here are my counters to your reasons:
1: No clue I'm only 17 so the fact that I haven't made many commitments could just be because I'm young so that's 50/50
2: I had an argument with my mom today about whether gen z has an advantage in social media marketing over other generations. so...
3: I don't make plans. People around me sometimes make plans that I have to follow and I don't really mind unless i do.
4: Bro I'm like the least serious person in the world 99% of the time.
5: I'm contemplating at least 4 different general paths I might take in collage half a year before I have to apply and figure out where I go because I'm just interested in so many unrelated things.
6: My opinions literally have more conflict with each other than the Middle East. Like sometimes I just sit there and try to reconcile which opinion is correct for like an hour.
7: I feel like I care about ppl but I was always very worried that I don't care enough or that I don't have a good enough emotional intelligence so idk... another 50/50 ig.
The worst part is that this will only make me more confused about if I'm an ENTP or not because I'll always be like: "Oh but a fake ENTP who wants to be an ENTP would also say that" and such so.... yeah....

Lol, as an ENTP who always thinks I'm really close to an ENTJ (especially cause of my 7w8 enneatype's 8th wing mb) the first statement was close to home. And about arguments - I don't think I argue often but that's mb cause I don't think of conversations and discussions that they are arguments lol. Thete're frequently situations when my INFP SO or my ISFJ friend think I'm arguing with someone but for me it's just a conversation.

42yo ENTP, I'll never stop being blown away that maybe our personalities are all preset like stations in a car radio or just a product of the order in which our brains compute. I'm a mature/healthy ENTP but every single trait presented here is dead on, it's just freaky how detailed it is. Some of my most feared words are structure, corporate, authority, knuckle down, focus, strict, rules, mandate, supervision, management. I have learned not to debate and argue, I can't stress enough how important it is to just shut up and listen, people like us more when we chill out, unfortunately can't find an off button for joking around when I'm in the mood to entertain myself and others.
As an ENTP myself, *my* most feared word is "wait". I honestly don't know About other ENTPs, so reply if you wanna.
1. Chaos in relationships is boring. It wrecks havoc on my emotions and is uninteresting. I want secure people around me.
2. Never avoid an debate, even if the other party is slightly unwilling(my friends all hate me a little) . Unless itll get me in trouble. Yes I prefer debates… for both reasons. Wants your position to be consistent and logical… omfggg yesss thats all i fucking ever want i’ve literally said that on so many occasions
3. Im relatively serious but like i find stuff kind of funny inherently so? idk on the serious aspect. i might be more serious than most?
4. Hate schedules and rules. I enjoy planning. More so its fun than it gives me a sense of security. I like organizing stuff(terrible at keeping organized) and both go for my time as well. I like to plan more as like a branching tree where no matter what i will want at any point i can still end at a favorable outcome. I plan more to open possibilites fhan to narrow down. I think im not savvy enough to get by with NO planning, tho i have just decided to wing things many tiems when it’s probably not the best idea…
5. Yes yes yes yes. Ive decided on so many various things and loved all of them!
6. Yes not confident. Sometimes i appear confident against a view i think is wrong but my own virews never right. I take this for granted. When i admit i myself am unsure people take that as admitting defeat? How can anyone be SURE of anything? thaf pisses me off.
7. i care a lot yes, trying to be better on acting on that

im a 30+ infp (i guess, i dont know. what do you think guys? 🙏) and i still dont like to settle down, im a child at heart, i dislike imagining having a wife and kids although i easily fall or attracted with someone.
sometimes i wanted to be an extrovert, an entj enfp or entp to be exact. but ofcorse being introvert is cooler bec. of its mysterious nature.

actually, i’m an entp who isn’t an atheist, i looked at what they believed, read a few books, and decided it doesn’t make enough sense, there isn’t a mechanism for species going one to another, at least not one i could find, if the mechanism was to work (an eye for example) would have to have each part work on it’s own, but i know one part of an eye couldn’t work by itself. So after studying arguing and researching i have concluded that darwinism doesn’t make sense, lots of things you just have to believe (with faith) like any other religion
if i’m wrong let me know, i’m just a kid who was bored and decided to see if darwinism was true or not one time lol

Don't look further into it, retain that veil of ignorance and live a happier life my friend. Only do it if you know for sure that you can deal with the existential crisis that can follow after entering that tunnel or you might get stuck in darkness forever.

By nature I like all views and am not normally the type that would accept a view on face value, and typically examine from all sides on an issue (which I still do), but I went to a service and experienced the presence of a power called the Holy Spirit. yes… most mbti is based on the least mature version no? the more balanced as a person u are the further u move away from this idea. plus mbti is entertainment and humor with a bit of analysis of people, not rigorous science. its more to gain a general understanding of how u and other people think rather than a comprehensive and accurate prediction. Everything is a model. Mbti is a bit more abstract and simplistic than a lot, but that makes it useful. of course something so simplified will not yield accurate results. add people finding humor in exxagerated stererotypes…
