Thanks... I really like how you explained everything... I have few questions though... I prefer combing my hair daily.. i use a paddle wooden brush... I dont comb it on wet hair instead i dry my hair then use some hair syrum to comb my hair for smooth combing... So should i keep doing this... M not much into giving them a particular style as i tie my hair all the time the only thing i want is smooth hair n some waves... I have really bad curls... As for the products i dont like using multiple products... I wanna minimize them like smapoo conditioner then what was it leave in cream... Then is a gel must... N what about syrum..?

Hi! Most of the products you have mentioned here are something I would probably never use.
Why? Ingredient list! Himalaya, cocosoul and WOW do not provide reveal ingredient list. Either they mention KEY INGREDIENTS (wow does that) or they mention only some plant names to lure consumers into believing how ‘natural’ they are but in reality they are using same ingredients as any other brands. Ayush certified brands like cocosoul, himalaya are not required to reveal/print their ingredient list. That gives them the loophole to hide ingredients or just mention some fancy ones plus ‘BASE Q.S.’ something like that.
Hiding ingredients - I don’t find the ethical. It’s their right to save their formulations but its also our right to transparency.
So I would rather give chance to other brands like Inatur and Parachute. I should give them a try♥️ Parachute cream I used in 2015-16 when it was new. Fun fact - though it was heavy, it was the first product that showed me what styling products can do to my curls😲🫶♥️💕

Hi, just like you identified your scalp type, hair type identification is important too because hair products work differently on different hair types - density, strand thickness, damage level matters a lot!! Products are same across all curl patterns. If your strands are thick and coarse, you will need more conditioning and moisturising products and low-medium conditioning for fine hair strands irrespective of pattern. Styling method can vary for different patterns a little bit. So finding products that work for YOUR HAIR is your personal journey. My suggestions might not suit you at all.

I have dandruff as well. Try to use ACV rinse apple cider vinegar water on a weekly bases. I do it weekly and if I miss 1 week the dandruff will come back.

Ask any marketing expert, these are all great marketing terms that grab attention and make people believe one thing is better than the other. Most welcome ♥️ gels have nothing in them to cause excessive hairfall. That happens when something inside our body is not going right - imbalance, deficiencies, stress, excessive smoking etc. hair products dont cause or treat excessive hairfall. They are too weak to be able to do that.

I noticed you didn't use scrunching method while applying any product. Any particular reason for that?
Scrunching is not done while applying products but rather at the end because scrunching is done to promote shrinkage. So that works great for wavy hair and loose curls - makes curls look tighter and more defined. I already have tight curl pattern so I skip scrunching most times as sometimes it increases frizz for me plus my curls dont need extra shrinkage.
However, its not the right way to apply products- if I’ll apply products while scrunching then only the ends will get coated and rest of the hair length will remain naked. The results - terrible looking hair thats frizzy on top and very crispy stiff at the bottom 🥲

I do everything as mentioned but still i get dry frizz and by the 2nd day my hair gets completely frizzy with no definition. Also my hair doesn’t look so voluminous, it looks very limp and doesn’t feel soft to touch even on my 1st day .I’m currently using loreal paris hyaluron night cream as a leave in and fix my curls gel … should I change my products or should I do something else to get the desired results ? … also I’m new to CGM and I’m kinda clueless and getting demotivated to continue after all my failed washdays.. Hi! Fix my curls defining gel (white-pink) bottle) can make hair dry for some people. That one could be the reason. Also depends how dry and damaged your hair was when you started. Most people have a lot of damage from heat styling,colour,bleach,sun exposure, experiments, not using stylers etc.
also matters if you are properly conditioning your hair or not.

But let me tell you one thing: give your hair one year to revive. You must have done everything else for them till now right? It must have not worked that’s why you started curly hair care? Isnt it? it wont be fair if you dont give enough time and effort in learning and practicing the ‘right way to curl care’. Your hair deserves that right? Failed wash days is how you learn. Doing everything right wont help you learn.

How to control split ends sis
Never leave hair without styling products, always use conditioner or deep conditioner after shampoo never skip that either - this doesn’t let split ends to happen. However if you have them already then trimming is the only way to get rid of split ends nothing can join them back. Trim and start fresh so they dont appear

Oh yes fine hair gets weighed easily. But good part is that you do have some great options for yourself that wont cause problems on scalp.
1- plum aloe gel as styler. The only aloe gel that works great in holding up curly hair.

2- DIY flaxseed gel. Just need to boil raw flaxseeds. You will find manyyyy videos on UA-cam but its super easy to make. Always store in fridge else it will spoil. Can be used for 7-10 days if stored in fridge all time.
Both these options can be used as moisturising hair gel. Good for fine hair. No dryness either.

Hi yes its slightly drying something like cleansing shampoo. Dandruff shampoos are meant ONLY for scalp not hair length - dandruff is only on scalp right?
