I don't play Sent but I wanted to say thanks for all your beginner guides. Between you and Gcon I was able to learn this game and have been having a blast on Fightcade for the last few months
Nice man! Glad I could contribute to your learning and fun with this game. And yeah, Gcon's stuff is def godlike, I still reference it til this day. Appreciate you watching and thanks for the kind words!
Hmm hard to say on my end since I've never tried any all button controllers. I personally think it makes more sense in my head for sentinel to be controlled with a joystick but I would love to be proven wrong!
I just bought a arcade stick... i find it very hard to even washdash... would it be possible to make a tutorial about how to washdash and basic movements using the arcade stick?
yo what up David! Congrats on the new fight stick. I'm not sure that I'll ever make a video like that but I'll throw it on my list of ideas just in case! Did you by chance watch my MvC2 Beginner's Guide video? That goes over how to wash dash. Essentially you just have to press both punch buttons, then cancel the dash with down, and then dash again with both punch buttons. But be aware that the timing is very strict on button dashing. You have to press both buttons at the exact same time otherwise you'll get like a LP or HP. So there's definitely some precision needed there
yup! i had a discussion with Biscuit recently about some newer players thinking that fast flys only apply to combos, but using it for movement as often as possible is also a must to play the robot efficiently! and as you're pointing out, you can definitely tell who does and who doesn't lol
I started playing online recently and this is exactly what I need. Thank you for keeping the game alive!
Awesome dude, and you're very welcome!

Do the hand cams help at all? Is it useful to have both angles or should I only do top down?? 🤔
handcams definitely help here, but i do think the top down view is way more useful
Roger that, thanks for your input! I was pretty much thinking that exact thing as well, but wanted to ask and see
The second angle only makes it better. When I first watched it I didn't really look at it but now that I am I think its useful
Is it qcb>neutral>forward + 2 kicks or qcb>two kicks>neutral>forward ?
QCB + KK (to initiate flight) > neutral > any direction and an immediate light attack
Let me know if that clears things up for you!

I wonder if the Hitbox with SOCD Neutral is good for Sentinel?

Okay, now I can describe when sentinel players have better movement than others. They use fast fly.

Fast fly seems kinda free on leverless ngl
Interesting thought. Do you have a leverless? If so, definitely let me know your experience!
