Man the future is very bright for Bandi Namco so far based on what we have seen, giving fans of all kinds amazing material insuring they eat good. I mean the fact they managed to make me hyped for a Updated version of a compilation of Pac-Man games is a great feat after all the downer moments that have happened with Bamco. I hope Ridge Racer comes back next, that series is overdue for a comeback.
Rumors going on about a .HACK remake collection but nothing for Xenosaga’s 20th anniversary! Happy about Klonoa, I hear it’s selling decent. Still needs more sales before the end of the month!
Dude. The story to Lunatea’s Veil is so good. If you thought that Phantomisle’s story pulled at your heartstrings, Lunatea’s Veil is gonna get the floodworks going
I hope the 2020s in general is a new start for everything, SEGA and Bamco seem to at LEAST be waking up to the realization that it’s time to take shit seriously again.
Yeah I'm also very excited for both so very much for those same reasons, I've never played Klonoa though but I've been wanting to for so long. As for Pac-Man as much as I'd die for a new platformer, I can't stress this enough I'd settle for at least an actually interesting and passion-filled maze entry. But yeah I've been so excited for Museum+ that I've been working on a collage for the collection, here's to hopefully a WAY brighter future for both series.
While I do like that they rereleased Pac-Man Arrangement again, where is our full Namco Classic Collection compliation on modern consoles? (Galaga, normal and Super Xevious, Mappy, Pac-Man, Rally-X, and Dig Dug + their Arrangement versions)
Bandi Namco has always been in a roll with Tekken and Elden ring and stuff like that. Much like Capcom with say Mega man or Ghost and Goblins. Sometimes they don't do anything or anything interesting with Ips like Pac Man or Klonoa
I love how Pac-Man museum plus has games on it that haven't had re-releases since they had originaly came out I'm surprised that they included both versions of Pac-Man arrangement from 1996 and 2005 but it will be worth it I'm also happy to see that Pac Attack super Pac-Man Pac and Pal and of course Pac Land are also included on this compilation As those are some of my favorite Pac-Man games aside from the oringal Also let's pay a moment of respect to Ms Pac-Man I feel bad that she's being removed from the series yes I'm well aware of the legal issues surrounding the game but not to have her show up in the series at all breaks my heart and saddens me deeply let's hope that these legal issues get cleared up so that she can make her glorious return back to the series
I'm with you on the Museum Plus hype. First game I've pre-ordered physically in a long while and I can't wait to pick it up Friday. Even if I wasn't a Pac Man fan, I feel like the effort put into it is something anyone can appreciate these days. Aside from M2's work, the retro compilations we've been getting have been piss awful so this is *so* refreshing. Pac Man's doing what Sonic isn't here, that's for sure.
I don't want Bandai-Namco to neglect their origins in pursuit of the IPs that make them more money. Like, I get it- but there is so much potential being left on the table this way. I don't want Bandai-Namco to become Capcom. :c I was definitely going to get the Pac-Man game, but I might get Klonoa as well. I didnt play the original games and it would be the perfect time to become more familiar with them.
another game missing is Adventures in Time, but eh, still interested in Pac-Roll and the Pac in Time games, and it's nice to see Klonoa back, that's one definitely on the list hopefully, they consider a remake of the World trilogy and Rally minus well, at best, they'll have to replace Ms. Pac and the kid, or at least another platformer
Well, they are remastered, Klonoa 2 in particular had all it's graphical assets remade from the ground up, the entire game is packed with new models and level geomatry, even if it's based on existing source code. It's a lot more effort compared to some other "remasters" IMO.
@@SuperMarioFan123311 Crash and Spyro had trilogies remade from the ground up with zero reused accets and it was 40, I dont think this Klonoa port can compare to those remakes tbh, I'll wait for a price drop
@@9-VoltGaming Klonoa 2 is more or less from the ground up, despite running on the original Source code. It's about as much of a remaster as the Halo anniversary remasters. Considering how Klonoa 2 hasn't been re-released at all, I feel that game makes the compilation worth it alone. I also just think that you should do your best to support the series unless you want it to potentially die for another decade again.
@@SuperMarioFan123311 okay let me just use my infinite money wallet and support overpriced games because "if you don't buy this game we are going to kill the franchise" like a hostage
@@9-VoltGaming Well if you're that short, I'm not gonna demand or make you or anything. I'm just saying take things into account, especially with how it's been over a decade since the failed Wii remake. I also feel you should look at the Halo remasters I mentioned for quality comparisons, granted while DTP is the Wiimake again but polished up to be more like the PS1 original, it's at least fixing up a lot of the mistakes and missteps it took in the original Wiimake's art direction and narrative changes.
This really could be Namco's redemption. Bringing back what you initially brought to the table and pleasing your audience is huge for all game companies. Because... Let's be fair. Their games nowadays are just... not intruiging at all.
in any case, it's possible that world isn't included because no one really cares about it in japan but i guess you could say the same about some of the other games in the collection like pac-in-time so
Pac-Mom is the perfect example of soulless corporate 'design'. They'd rather create this dead-eyed Stepford-Pac than pay a (relatively small) lump of cash to GCC. I love Pac-Man but the treatment of Ms. Pac-Man makes me sad. #IStanMsPac-Man
@@thenumenfrompacland9491 Yeah I know it's basically dead, but it was filed at the same time as Klanoa and Mr. Driller and now those projects have come to fruition so I'm still holding out hope. Splatterhouse has been released in a recent compilation for the Switch and Splatterhouse: Wanpaku Graffiti was also on Namco Museum for my PS4 and that has never been released in the U.S. so hopefully that means something.
Special thanks to SuperMarioFan123311 for basically editing this video for me while I wasn't able to!
Another way Pac-Man Museum + relates to the PMW games is that Pac-Man moves in 8 directions, just like in the first PMW
I think PMM+ is a test demo for a Pac-Man World Remakes or PMW4 which is why pac got emotes and why they got 3D models, but it's just my theory.
@@moniqueperkinsmp well your theory is correct…

Came back here after the Mini Direct because HOLY CRAP!!!

They should take World Rally, add more tracks, expand the roster, add in some kart customisation, and BOOM. Hope we get a new GALAGA game.
I might bust that out on my PS2 soon, I love that game!
Don't forget Dig Dug and Ridge Racer

Well I can’t wait to see for myself!
i still get tears in my eyes watching the phantasy reverie trailer, i’m so happy klonoa is coming back!!
We are trying to get Klonoa to sell a million copies!

Hi Rene
@@Nic_2751 Hello Nic
A remake of world would be so awesome. I doubt it needs a massive team to remake the game.
yup
ITS. HAPPENING
the next time anyone insults us brits, I'm going to bring up the fact that we helped make phantasy reverie the 6th bestselling amazon UK game overall

Namco is actually trying for once, though I'll truly be happy when they bring back Point Blank because I'm a dirty G-CON fan >:D
I actually quite liked Pac-Man friends, it was quite fun :)
rip to me ever being able to get it on iOS tho
