What I think he means here is that no matter how much he loves someone he folds, because he can’t bare to feel the pain of losing them. i was doing homework and as usual listening to some music on youtube, and this song randomly started playing and i was listening to it, uk new song, i always loved songs w guitar and when i heard this song i instantly felt attached to it, i was going thru a lot of personal stuff and i didnt know any of his songs just watermelon sugar, but i didnt bother to check, then months later i started to listen more of his songs and what can i say... i lost my mind over him. became directioner, harrie and larrie, been thru a lot of sh t w this song, and when i listen to fine line i cry, almost every time. long story short, this was the video i heard fine line for a first time in september. kinda makes me sad that i cant go to love on tour and hear it live, but ya know... maybe someday i will hear it
