The reason why it hitting the glass is because you was pressing on the molding to hard. You bent the original molding in. Just open the door and wedge a flat head screw driver between the door rubber and the original molding out a littler. That will set the visor out more
I know that this vid is old. Just park your car in the sun for a day. It'll shape itself to the fitting around the window. I have the same AVS low profile for my 2020 camry. It came out solid.
there seems to be a gap between the chrome of the new part and the roof. Did you have any problems with water? Thanks for your help. He's gone missing from his channel so I won't ask any questions.
@@gwgrote5 Gap due to the install? I think I know what you're taking about. I have no issue with water at all. My car is parked outdoors 24/7 rain, shine (hawaii weather). Still holding strong till this day. But I do wash my car once a week so maybe that helps keeping the window clean & have the water repell off the visors with causing no build up of dirt or debris.
@@junballs6576 I really appreciate you taking the time to respond to my question. Yet isn't Hawaiian rain from Heaven? :o) I love Hawaii, especially the Moana Surfrider on Waikiki. I know they renovated since my last visit and I wasn't consulted. A beautiful hotel but preferred the older "Banyan" original rooms (with balcony) which appear to be gone. (sigh). I also just read that Chuck's Steakhouse is gone from the Outrigger. Where are my happy-hour Mai Tai's? lol. Again, your response is much appreciated. A Hawaiian approval makes the mark! Happy Holidays!
Thank you brotha. Unfortunately when they came in this morning I found a crack on the front right visor. AutoAnything is sending a new set though, so, hopefully soon i'll be able to do the install.
I'm super late, but I wonder how they held up after time. The chrome accent stayed looking good? Anyone who has tried them your comments are appreciated. I can't find too many options for my model vehicle.
Installed these on my 2017 Accord Sport yesterday, only to realize I did it wrong the next day, so I had to rip them all off and re-install this morning. They went back on pretty easily, I applied some high heat with a blow dryer, looks to be on pretty well hope they’ll just bond tighter over time as is the purpose of 3M.
I think it came out well.....Thats such a minor problem...I just bought these outer channel Low Pros for my Beamer should be comin in today....But couldnt find the Chrome Molding anywhere!!!
I should've uploaded my video earlier, was too lazy lol. but your visor is rubbing because you didn't install it high enough, I noticed right away it looked a bit too low. I would recommend to reinstall, esp if you park your car outside, the heat will eventually make the visor bend to the window. just a tip but nice video!
+expired as of right now they're sitting okay but I see what you're saying about the heat. I'll give it a few days and if it starts to mess up I guess I'll have to reinstall them!
+Erik Alvarez surprisingly it did make a difference! But the visors fixed into shape after a few days. It occasionally rubs the window but it's very slightly but doesn't leave any marks or scratches.
@@bayareagarage7303 did u stick that piece that goes behind the mirror…between the rubber and the window or between the rubber and the outside plastic cover?
This is definitely what not to do video! LOL oh and they scratch my windows but I'm going to stick some rubber things under here. LOL I'm laughing so hard at you! Was that Instant Karma for the way you tossed off those instructions?
Weathertech was my choice...because they went inside the Window Track they were $100.00...I've been using them for years on different Vehicles 2006 Avalon and 2017 Sienna and 2007 lexus Is250...
@@bayareagarage7303 Nice. Is the tape still holding on? I usually avoid these types of visors because they tend to give out and make the visor flap around. These are the cheapest ones that look close to OEM and next best ones are made by Wells but don't look as sleek.

+v1182 aww that sucks. At least they're sending you a new set! Hit us up if you have any questions!
These are Hella nice. But I also went this route but then went oem on my 3is and man was it a difference in looks and quality

Thanks!

Can you make a video of how it looks?
Vinskikauski Amourelius don’t have that car anymore..lol
Adnan Ali, oh no what happen?
Vinskikauski Amourelius traded up for an Audi.
Adnan Ali, how would you rate the Accord honestly?
Thank you
Bought the same pair
Same problem with the windows hitting the plastic

U suppose to leave your window close for 24 hours. That’s what happened if u roll down your windows right after the installed
I can’t find no avs with the chrome strips on them
What color is ur car
What’s good neighborhood!!!
Um would have been nice too see if you got it resolved
Yeah right?! What kind of a bozo job was that? LOL
They go in the window seal not the outside that’s why they where hitting the window bro
I knew the front sticks down into that plastic part, I hate seeing people just stick it on top
Probably because there not OEM?
No product link…???
Anyone have a link to them??? I only find some for the LS250 and LS350
Jordan Campos I got some on amazon that say that but they fit my 07 is 250
Can I link?
did that eraser spacer help the visor go to the correct shape so the window wouldnt hit

what's the main advantage of having a visor? rain drops, sunshine eye protection. Are they worth it?
razz P they look cool asf
Edgar Lopez and do they have any practical benefit?
@@raczyk I got them like this I can have a cigarette while driving even if it rains without having water coming in the car.
You answered your own question. Weathershields provide all those benefits plus more and they complete the look of the car.

AVS is good, been around forever. I've used numerous of their products and they damn near outlast the car
why do you need then what use of them /?
Rain drops won’t get on your inside door it helps a bit or to look little better lol
What percent window tint is that?
Zanpy 10
4:55 well that kinda sucks bro...
Luckily they've become MUCH better over time and that doesn't happen anymore 😅

After that Demo i think I'll Pass.
😂😂😂
Where you buy those ??
amazon
You get what you pay for. +1 JDM OEM
You clearly have never heard of this brand then
Oem is overpriced, he installed them wrong, they normally don’t do this.
WEATHERTECH
That's why OEM is extra......doh!
I think everyone knows that. But not everyone wants to pay $300 for that
Not true.
That's why I'm getting OEM and paying over 300 for it. :(
That's what happens when you put non oem cheap plastic crap on your lexus ... smh
Shawn kemp like he said it’s not worth spending $400 on window flares😂
Don’t buy this brand guys lmao wtf
