    Watching this and I have electro/mechanic degree. I never done anything like this, your electric knowledge is far beyond what i learned. Sadness, but watching this makes me want to get out into the garage and make what you create. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and showing what we can make. Defiantly a +1 sub from me .

    I'm into this stuff, building things is something I enjoy, but i was raised in poor country and in a poor family, i didnt even had one single power tool. I have to say this hobby not only need passion but it need resources too and you my friend have them both! Congradulations ❤

    I wouldn't have glued the top on to it in case you have to go back in there for some reason

      agreed. I don't know that much about tools or circuitry, but it seems to me that if something goes wrong with the circuits you would want to have easy access to them to be able to correct the problem. if something goes wrong here the entire cover would have to be separated and resealed again. perhaps using something like a hinge and latch to close the top would be better? I'm not sure. what do you think of this suggestion?

    Nice documentary of the build. You can get the gears off of those small motors pretty easily without a dremel by lightly clamping the gear in your vice, and using a screwdriver, or diagonal cutters to pry it off. Saves you some dremel work. A couple of concerning things here would be motor attachment, that plate its screwed to is pretty thin. Maybe make that part out of aluminum, or reinforce where the screws go through the wood.

    That was an awesome build! I can't draw circuits like you did, but give me the outline of the circuit board, and the where the parts go, as well as a list of parts, and I can build it. Love your Dremel. I have that model too. I just might make this build, it was neat. You go dude!

    посредственная защита пильного диска. Рукоять держится только на клею. Неразборный отсек с механикой и электроникой-так как он на клею. Идея-неплохая, реализация-не дотягивает до 4 из 5 баллов, имхо.

    what is the glue you use to hold the bearing

  • @ydin9
    @ydin9 4 роки тому +3

    As much as I enjoy the diy nature of this thing and it's nice to see how its made there's some clear OSHA issues with this thing and I hope you'd just go to a garage sale and get one for cheap circular saw like the rest of the people in the world. These things generally see a few house floors worth of use for an average person so even an used one will generally be worth it. This is way too jerryrigged.
    The handle is way too unsecure with just glue as well as the spinter cover which should actually cover more of the blade since you risk ricochet splinters. Telling you now, that piece of cheap floor board feels bad in the eye area, even if you wear safety glasses.

    • @davidpontius7031
      @davidpontius7031 4 роки тому +1

      Yeah I agree, this thing could easily brake if used incorrectly. If M.N. Really wants to make his own, he should at least make the housing out of metal and weld the handle on.

    3:33 for your own safety you should not let your fingers come sooo close to the saw blade.
    99,14% of humans use a wooden pushstick for the table saw for a very good reason (to keep their fingers in the long run)

    • @hyperhektor7733
