As a guy buying my first weed trimmer this video is terrible for posting misleading information, he said one of trimmers is a 4 stroke engine, but I later learned both are 2 stroke, videos like this should be taken down
i just came across this video as im lookin into a pas2620 myself and as soon as it said a gasoline only i quit watching cause thats misinformation lol
I think the 2620 is also a 2-cycle motor and therefore would be powered by a gas/oil mixture like the 225

I did get better info, but on 2620 you mention vibration while not on other, how much more or is it just fluff.

I know you've made a video here where you're just reading a stat sheet, but when you start off by saying that the 2620 uses only gasoline where the 225 uses a mixture of gas and oil, I'm done listening. If anyone actually pays attention to your video, they're going to ruin their very expensive weed eater.

I've owned my 225 since 2008, and it's never let me down. Still running strong, today the original speed feed head wore out
I have a 225 & it has plenty of power. Easy start. Price is much better too. 9 years old & still going strong.
Had mine the 225 model for almost 2 years . And just bought another one today... I use Vortex String 💪🏽
So the 2620 is marginally more powerful and has a bigger gas tank. But it uses more gas so tank size vs run time is roughly equal all things considered. So biggest difference is the 2620 is a tiny bit more powerful, heavier and costs 75% more. Why would this be the recommended choice at $350+ each for the 2620 vs $200 each for the 225?

I really doubt that the 2620 is a 4 stroke and if it's a 2 stroke then it requires oil in the fuel mixture the same as the 225. With this being the biggest difference between the two and likely not true this video is pointless! If it is a 4 stroke there are cons to that such as you can't run it sideways for very long without causing damage to the motor. I have only seen one 4 stroke trimmer and it wasn't an Echo.

This is why you should never use the ai thats built into browsers for research , it is absolutely terrible, inaccurate and often contradictory
You should probably remove this video before this information is responsible for trashing someone's brand new trimmer.

Weight different is in pounds or ounces?
Echo SRM 2620 dry weight is 11.7lbs. Echo SRM 225 dry weight is 12lbs.

Actually it’s 12.3lbs for the 2620 and 11.5lbs for the 225. Those weights include the cutting head on the end.
You need to redo your video. You're getting things wrong. These are 2 stroke engines and they both take a gas and oil mix.
