People from Louisville are weird about the pronunciation of their city... Its a thing... Anyway, it's actually pronounced "LOU'-vill". I know that's weird but that's how they say it. The appostrophe is a sort of semi pause. Like there's almost an "uh" there but not quite. Its like the U in LOU has a breathy tail.

Black Rifle Coffee Company is important. They're a coffee distributor founded and operated by a group of military veterans who have a passion for both the product and the people who have served the United States as military personnel, police officers, firefighters, and other sorts of public servants. Shaun, that Bag Balm is a great skin cream for hands, feet and all over. Maybe it would help your psoriasis? The funny name comes from it being originally made for dairy farmers to sooth the sore udders (bags) of their dairy cows. The farmers noticed that it made their own hands so soft after applying it to the cows, that they started using it on their own skin. Then it started being sold to the public as a human skin cream!

You made out like a Bandit, Shaun! Like many people during the cold, dry winter months, my feet get dray and they can crack from the dryness. That's where Bag Balm comes in handy! Use it all over your feet, and sleep with socks on all night, and you'll see the Huge difference Bag Balm can make! It is The BEST thing for dry, cracking skin. Growing up on the farm, we used it on the cows' udders, because during the winter months, they get dry, and crack so much they'll even bleed from the super-dry air, and the cold. Bag balm helps heal them right up! If you have chapped hands, Bag Balm is just what you need.

That cactus is called a Saguaro. (Sah-wor-oh). I live in Tucson. 🌵 I’ve made my own prickly pear jelly. I wasn’t wild about the flavor but my niece loved it. The Sonoran Desert is unique. Most people think of sand dunes when it comes to deserts. Ours is a “green desert” because of the wide variety of vegetation and animals. Check out the Sonoran Desert Museum’s website for a good example of all the unique plants and animals we have here.

The guys at Black Rifle Coffee company recently made a video for Bass Pro Shops promoting that Bass Pro has started to sell their coffee in the stores. As soon as you put that cap on, you look like some good old boy from the Mississippi Delta. Then I noticed the NASA blue meatball on your shirt and I remembered the George Jones song, High Tech Redneck. :)
That brings us back to Scotland because the term "redneck" came from some Scottish clans who moved to the US South, but they wore red neckerchiefs, so everybody called them Rednecks and it spread.

I'm in New Mexico. (We have some things like AZ does, but really mostly our own unique things) The prickly pear jams we have too. Every so often my husband takes our kids out into the fields and they pick the fruit off the cacti and we make jam. We live on the edge of a small rural town so we can go out on hundreds of acres of unfenced land and explore or pick the cacti fruit that grows naturally. Cacti, sunflowers, junipers, pine trees, Russian olive trees (which have yellow flowers and smell heavenly), yucca, cottonwood trees, Aspens, and many colorful wildflowers all grow wild here. It's a really pretty place with gorgeous sunsets/sunrises. We are a place that has great food since we are kinda a spicy blend of Native Americans, Spanish settlers, and Mexico. (We also have a small Scottish community here and they do the Highland games every year -pre covid- in kilts with bagpipes playing) It's a place in the country that is still very very wild and untamed. I love how the stars are so bright and smudged all across the night sky, and you can see shooting stars too. People here are no strangers to hard work. It's also not uncommon (where I'm at specificly) to see cowboys on horseback riding out to check cows. It's a (pre Covid) very common sight to have cowboy men drop their kids off for elementary school in their truck pulling a trailer with their horse tacked up and ready for a days work, along with huge water tanks to take water to the cows. That's probably the most common sight where I'm at... work trucks with hay, tacked horses, working dogs, and water tanks half the size of the truck off to work. NM is a nice place with its own kind of beauty. I recommend it. If you ever come this way explore nature. There are so many hidden gems of beautiful nature here... and we aren't hot like AZ is 🥵

Shaun...You've GOT to look up the T.V. adverts for Frank's Red Hot Sauce on UA-cam or Google. They all have the line "I put this shit on EVERYTHING " The curse word is usually bleeped. But it is so popular, little kids will see the sauce on a shelf in a grocery store and tell their parents "I put this shit on everything!!". It's not very hot. But it is perfect for putting that shit on everything 😊

If you've ever watched a western film or tv show with those saguaro cacti....it's pretty much got to be Arizona. However, Flagstaff in dem thar hills gets 11-80 inches of snow a year compared to 28 inches for the average American city. It is actually colder than many southeastern US cities and might be compared to Richmond Virginia for climate. Arizona is a very diverse state. One of the famous things called "The London Bridge" (this one over the Thames built in 1830) is now located in Lake Havasu AZ. Some say the American owner thought he was buying the "Tower Bridge" and was surprised he got shipped (at enormous expense) something else.
