The Tokyo dialect follows it pretty strictly, so you can just use that as your reasoning for following it. Also, Watashi is a general term for I. The term you were thinking of is Boku, which is generally used by guys. Atai is a childish way of saying Watashi. ufufu is u fu fu not uf uf uf ... where'd you even get the last F from there, bro? ;p Also, if you want, you can have me review your script and help you get things right in the future. Though, I don't know everything, so I might miss some things, it would still make it better.
