Why those stupid marketing turn away old altra fans? They could just ADD those bloody narrow/standard fit , and have all models in OG fit....i would love to buy torin, timp, riviera in og...not in any other fit...sorry altra...
Please do something about the Rivera rubber outsole. It worn out very quickly. It seem that The Rivera 2 still using the same rubber outsole as the previous rivera or its just been improved.
In my opinion the 3 isn't like my older version at all I have the 1st could wear it hours no problems the 3 I had to buy inserts and rig the laces in a weird way bc it caused hip knee & top of foot pain😢
zero drop and the wide toebox make Altra shoes special and comfortable, but the shape is really like what my grandmother likes to wear. I only wear my torin 5 while running, it’s not suitable at all for daily footwear.
if you can run in it, Why won't it also work for everyday walking too? That confuses me, because I want one pair of shoes to do them both, Will be traveling light here soon.
No they don’t :( they don’t have a All Weather road shoe and I’m actually shocked that the Outroad didn’t come in that option. I live in the city and actually walk about 30km per day due to a Morten’s Neuroma injury I can’t run and Altra’s is the only shoe I can ware but we are going into winter in Norway and it’s raining and I’m just tired of having wet feet with my Paradigms and that’s even with an umbrella. So please Altra expand your thinking and range. Make Altra vs like Nike Pegasus Shield or Hoka Challenger GTX
I buy 4-5 pair of Altra (Temp, Lone Peak, Escalate, Torin ) every year for myself & another 3 pair for my daughter. Not in 2021 , the width of your shoes have narrowed. Please offer extra wide in 2022 .
5 pairs so they only last like 2 months, was interested in the brand for having a bigger toe box but the durability of these has been putting me of I seemly can't afford to buy that many shoes for the price that they are, be nice if they made some heavy duty shoes
Altra has completely pierced the new Paradigm, has lost in stability, as for the cushioning has the wrong compound because it seems to be on a pierced tube, the only feature perhaps apt is the aesthetic. Better to rethink a 6 that is worthy of being superior to the 5!
@@davidlynch9049 I don't need orthotics, but proper shoes, the Paradigm 5 I used shortly after mid-November '21 to run and finish in 94h57' the 6 th Authentic Phidippides Run Athens-Sparta-Athens 490 km (GRE) and the Paradigm 5 went great as in 2017 the version 3. Keep in mind that I use the Paradigm in the various versions from 1.5. The Provision is stiffer and less cushioned than the Paradigm, we are definitely talking about another shoe. Unfortunately, in the Paradigm 6 they made a mistake in the compound, making them similar in feel to an old mattress and also to make them more aesthetically pleasing, they compromised the stability that Paradigm always had. This is my honest opinion.

Great stuff! And i can see the vanquish in the backgroumd. No more escalante racer?

I like the Altras better thank Hoka, the roomy toe box is fantastic! The zero drop is different but feels more natural with my strides.
Alex please take me in for an internship 🙏
Escalante and Superior are two of their best shoes. Superior for trails and Escalante for roads.
Any update on Kayenta forecast?
Escalante 2.5 was the best altra i've ever worn. I hope the 3 is as good.

How much do any of these weigh?
The Escalante looks like it has a pretty built up upper. I'd redo it and save some weight on the shoe.
It's meant to be a comfortable trainer, not a racing shoe. The Escalante racer exists for a reason.
Which shoe feels squishy & cushy underfoot ,say like a nb fuel cell rebel v2 but zero platform ?
Please let us buy some torin 4.5 s. They were perfect for me, why change it?
ALTRA I NEED WIDE (2E) ESCALANTE RACERS PLEASE BEST SHOES
Vanish carbon?

The guy who asked questions seemed to rehearse the whole video before filming it.
What's wrong with preparing to make sure he doesn't waste people's time?

@@phillvallace I believe he's buying the different shoes for different scenarios. I run in the provisions and have no issues with the wear.
I loved Altras but they are too narrow now!
Yes, having at last found shoes that fit me in Altra shoes, I now have to go back to square one. They are throwing away what they had.
Yes, please don’t change or even touch the Escalante!!! Lol
Altra abandoned their foot shape, they are basically just normal shoes now. Nothing special anymore. (Have the Rivera 1, meh)
3:54 ton of…feet-back 😂

That looks like a Max stability shoe. If you need more stability than that, orthotics might be your best option.

Ugliest shoes in the game. I love the Torin. But can you please give me a version that looks better?
Dang ugly shoes with poor performance. Who's running a pb in these? Exactly no one. Best stick with the trail and ultra markets.
I ran my PB 5K today in 17:17 wearing Altra Paradigm 6s. Going for sub 17 soon
