    I think you are beautiful. The glitter is just a bonus. 😂. Because of your personality and voice, I could watch you all day. I'm not trying to be odd, I can understand you, great job. And thank you. Iam 72 with 5 spinners and ready to get started. Iam going to now be, (fun-employed).

    Beautiful! I can't wait to try this! TIP: use used coffee grounds to clean uncured epoxy off skin. Works like a charm! I had epoxy all over my hands and forearms and I was next to my coffee station so I had the thought to try it and it only takes seconds for clean up!

      Great tip! Once upon a time, I thought i was allergic to the epoxy, you can see i am so careless with getting it on me that i was reacting real hard at one point and i tried EVERYTHING .. long story short, i was never allergic to the epoxy, i was reacting to all of the alcohol i was using trying to get the epoxy off of my skin... stop wiping down the alcohol, the reactions went away,.. but as an avid coffee addict, i am would much rather slather myself in coffee grounds!!! lol

    Awesome tutorial-I can't wait to try it out!
    I caught the comment you made about your dog having dementia. My Lucy, who I had for 15+ years, suffered from doggie dementia the last several years of her life. It was at first annoying & then heartbreaking to watch her decline. Im a nurse who specialized in dementia & Alzheimer's care for most of my career, so I know a thing or two about it, & I found that alot of what applied to humans also applied to canines. She often paced( to the point of exhausting herself.) I found a very good herbal preparation @ Tractor Supply that really helped with that. It had a combination of ingredients ( including melatonin,) that really helped her to relax without knocking her out.
    I hope your journey with your afflicted canine friend goes smoothly. It's never easy to watch them suffer, & they are gone WAY too soon. Treasure every moment(however annoying, ) with your dog. 🐕💔🐶

    I love your designs. Very thorough tutorials. I've been working with resin for 5 years but with different mediums and i just got a turner. Boy am I having issues. I found that let's resin alcohol inks don't work at all. It repels the resin and leav3s big dry spots. My tim Holtz works fine. Are there any other brands that you're aware of Not to use?

    I love your cups . How do you charge for cups . Just starting out on cup’s

    • @wickedwhiskeydesigns
      @wickedwhiskeydesigns  7 місяців тому

      Thank you!!! .. ugg.. charging is hard! like, trying to figure out how to charge based on where your expertise level is vs competition vs platform, ect while still keeping YOUR work and value at an acceptable level .. its so easy for us to under value our work and under charge, especially when you will always have one person try to tell you that you are charging too much for 'just a cup' ... when i was learning, i bottom charged .. like $20.00 for a 30 oz tumbler because i was still learning and i was NOT doing amazing things!!!! haha ,.. then as your skill grows, you start adding a few dollars here and there .. keep in mind your expenses but also where you are selling ... are you using something like etsy? they are happy to take fees after fees after fees so you need to price accordingly to make up for what you are losing there .. same with shipping costs .. the bottom line is you want to be paid a fair price for your time and creativity .. some people will add up how much it costs them to make one cup and then double it .. or triple it ... some people dont worry about the exact math but price based on what other tumbler makers in their same level of expertise charge and go from there .. my suggestion is if you are on social media, check out a handful of FB tumbler groups ... sometimes the members are nice, sometimes they arent but if you search posts for 'prices', you can oftentimes see where a lot of people ask the same question and you should be able to get an idea of pricing that you are comfortable with, especially with starting out. I hope that helps.. definitely feel free to reach back out to me because yeah .... there is a lot that goes into this conversation of pricing ..lol!!!
