I have a mint green cup here that I did, and the peekaboo is on it already. I just couldn't decide on any color because I thought the brown woodgrain would just look so "dead." eeeek... thats my hubbys halloween skull leopard cup!!!! i love that cup... its been sitting out here for months because it needs another coat of epoxy on it because someones wife is lazy and will run it through the dishwasher from time to time .. hahaha!!! i will see what i can do about whipping up a tutorial :)
Oh my, the teal and pink together are so vibrant and fabulous! I love the reminder to not try to fix every small detail. This is my downfall. I can’t stop myself and then the tiniest thing turns into a massive redo haha 😢. Just to clarify… exactly how much alcohol was involved in the making of this cup? 😉

Hello Miss Kellie! I usually just use one of the cheap 1in. wooden handle brushes from the dollar store, but I could not find mine for this video, hence why I an using a little painter brush for this. The 1in. brush just lets me do more coverage faster so I can do more cups at one time. As for my favorite colors I usually tend to stay in the brown family for a lot of our cups, using either pinata or Tim Holts alcohol inks, Expresso, caramel, and such. They can usually be found in a pack together. This was super fun to do something out of the box and different for this cup and I now know the color pallet for wood grain is anything I can put down.
