This is a truly amazing story. Another amazing story of survival from the Moore Medical Center is that of another mother by the name of Lacy Jacobs. Lacy had already delivered her son Kellan when the tornado touched down in Newcastle, Oklahoma when she, her husband and their eldest son had to evacuate to the cafeteria. As the tornado moved closer and closer to the hospital Lacy was extremely frazzled and worried about the possibility of losing her life or her children losing their lives. Fortunately Lacy survived and was safely evacuated to the Warren Theatre along with the rest of the patients and employees. Though like many; Lacy couldn't believe the destruction she was seeing after she got outside. Nowadays; Lacy's son Kellan and Shayla's son Braeden are both eleven and in school. All I can do is hope that the two of them are friends or at least classmates. I learned about Lacy's story in a video titled "Code Black: the Stories of May 20th." While Lacy was the only patient to appear in the video; it largely consisted of various staff members of Moore Medical Center as they told their stories of survival.

I work @ a Christian Hospital althou, i am a non- believer, & a non- believer in alot of things, especially being kick out twice, from two different churches, made me b a non- believer in alot i learn to believe in things i see in today's world & the reality all around us which, keeps me going.
I was in a tornado shelter when that happened I was 4 or 5 years old and I had no idea what was going on but I remember this guy was helping everybody outside from the tornado I remember my step sisters were trying to get service and now that I think of it they couldn't get any LOL I was living with my aunt's at that time
I’m thankful they all survived being in the delivery room. I was knocked out for both my baby 👶🏾 deliveries... couldn’t even imagine a tornado hitting the hospital I was at. 😳
