I will be playing Xenoblade Chronicles 2. I should have uploaded this forever ago. I was broke for a while but I have a 2nd job now (with better pay) and flexible hours, I'll have a lot of videos and some newer games coming soon! I'm also trying to request some review copies, but Monolith doesn't have an english website or contact.. I'll just buy a copy next paycheque. I'm also going to reach 1,000 subscribers before Febuary 16th so I won't lose my partner status. That's a big relief, so thank you to everyone who subscribed!
Yeah this is why I could never get into this game even after 70 hours of playing or so. I dont have a damn clue what the hell you're even doing here. The combat just didnt make any sense to me and I couldnt figure out what I needed to do. What the hell does GP and especially TP even mean?! I didnt understand all the effects and what meant what. It also didn't help this was my first Xenoblade game but jesus Christ the depth of basically EVERYTHING in this game was so vast it was the first time I ever felt overwhelmed to the point I stopped playing the game entirely. Maybe one day....
@Pragmaticist I agree. Also various other problems make it hard to get into like the OVERBEARINGLY complicated HUD, how small the font is on basically everything in the menus making it hard to even read, no accessible how to play manuals after the intro tutorial, a lot of vague explanations on most mechanics, the lack of healing items was a hoop I couldnt jump through and the game never tells me how to heal in its unique system, and of course the story was such a slog with nothing to keep me interested to move forward. I basically went through hell just so I could explore the amazing world. It was so addicting even tho I couldnt understand jack shit of what I was supposed to do. 70 hours in and i basically relied on instinct alone to get me through it all. I just couldnt bring myself to move on any further after getting the flight module for the Skell, which was a great reward in and of itself. I want to come back and play it again but like I said it's a hard pill to swallow playing this game. I've never experienced such a wall of learning in a game like this before. I hate to say the word but this is NOT an accessible game for anyone who wants to play it. Not even close. Your only hope in hell of getting a grasp of this complicated system off the Bat is if you played Xenoblade 1 and 2, but even after doing that I'm still trying to wrap my head around this whole thing. That's it, good luck.
I recommend Enel's videos, one on a combat guide and one on an overdrive guide. The game is crazy in depth and can be a bit of an entry barrier because the game is very bad at explaining it (especially overdrive), but trust me once you've got it all figured out it's soo fun
@@TheLifeisgood72 Same lmao I had my ether blossom build back when I was 13-14 when the game came out and was soloing superbosses on foot, but to be fair the game is really bad at explaining overdrive, it's not even until recently that I learned green and blue arts increase duration and how OP appendage crusher is
@@obamaorb7426 Oh I'm aware of Enel. He would be my first go to for a tutorial on this game if I ever return to it. Thank god for him or the thought of even coming back to this game wouldnt even be a thing to me anymore.
@@TheLifeisgood72 I beat the entire game and all superbosses solo in 3 weeks when I was 6. First Xenoblade game! Sorry, not impressed that you did it when you were 12.
In xenoblade, defense is basically uesless. Instead, there is resistance to certain elements which negate a percent of type of attack. You can get 100% resistance sometimes, resulting in only taking one damage from attacks of those types.
Ok how did people get their ground character builds to be this OP? Are they just glitches, or super exploits kinda like the glitch in skyrim where you can enchant a wooden sword to deal unlimited damage, or what?
Hasn’t played this in over four years but you basically just abuse overdrive chains and you will just hit insane damage eventually. I never used the ranged weapons like this person, but I used some katana you could get that was a best in the game.
Is it possible to do the same with skells? Because tbh, it bugs me that literally every video I see involves immediately discarding your skell and cheesing the enemy. I actually want to see a skell do this level of combat. I mean, I thought that was the whole purpose of skells in the first place but all I see are people doing 1v1 on foot against things over twice their level and making both skells and teams look like a waste of time 😐 I mean it's badass for sure, but there comes a point where you're flexing so hard it removes the tension the game was meant to convey and I can't take my own past experiences with the game seriously anymore.
Kurayamiblack I haven’t played in years but I remember there was a specific skell build that killed super bosses much much quicker than this. I think it could one shot most of the bosses if not all.
@@Kurayamiblack If I remember correctly having a Skell present with you in the party but not boarded gives your foot party members a 30% boost in defense and evasion. Something along those lines at least. I dont have a hope in hell of making out the technicalities behind videos like this but I imagine a boost like that to you probably plays a big part in why being on foot is more beneficial to fighting these guys than staying in the Skell. All the Xenoblade games have some form or another that makes it possible for you to cheese enemies by exploiting buffs such as these. If I were to guess, this guy is probably combining a bunch of buffs on top of this already major buff to deal this kind of insane damage.
Now we have to go back to Mira
My hit list for the incoming future

Saltyman do you take any donation?
I don't have anything set up yet but I'm looking into Patreon. It's probably a good idea if I'm spending so much time on my channel.

Como y porque hace tanto daño?
Is there a video showcasing exactly how you boost your raygun damage as high as in like the gravidus fight?
Yeah I actually showed my full build at the end of the Gradivus fight here: ua-cam.com/video/ywUpQCTyEak/v-deo.html

Why does that shit remind me of Devil JIN?
What i dont undestand is how you dont take damage

and rebounds, with raijin or other damage deflecting arts you cand deal the damage is supposed to go to you

Whyvis every super boss in a xenoblade game have to ve a dragon lmao every gae has 1 suoerboss dragon
I don’t believe 2 had one. It had a mutant T-Rex titan but I don’t think any dragons.
Honestly if regular players cannot beat these bosses without doing this stuff then it becomes boring tbh.
