Vlog 187: The Village Garbage -

A while ago I put up the FOGO collection in the City of Melbourne, and I thought it was about time to showcase the truck that I got on Garbage. Citywide run a small fleet of just 7 Side Loaders in the City of Melbourne, A Ex Demo Iveco Bucher (Which featured in my previous Melbourne Upload), & 2 Ex Demo Superior Pak Dennis which run alongside 4 2018 Dennis Gen6s which were brought brand new in the start of 2018 - The beginning of Citywide buying Dennis, these are fitted with XTREME 20m bodies (I think they are?), and feature some simple signage of Citywide and Council Logos, Except for #FN18073 which is the FOGO truck and features green signage promoting use of the service.
Today we see #FN18070 on Garbage, Normally it would be #FN18053 (One of the Ex Demo Superior Pak units mentioned above) but that truck was off the road, leaving this driver to take #FN18070 out, which I believe is used as a spare truck as I have seen it on all 3 collections. I was rather disappointed about the Superior Pak not being out, as I was hoping to get a video of it, However I’m still pretty happy to have a video of one of the Melbourne Dennis’s as they haven’t been covered much on UA-cam.
This was filmed in a little village area, with some tight lane ways to reverse in and out of, I filmed FOGO in these same streets just minutes before this footage was taken so that worked out pretty well timewise. I managed to get this decent 6 min video, on the few streets that were left.
Also, apologies about the clip that comes to a sudden end, there was an error made in the final stages of editing, and I didn’t notice until it was already uploaded to UA-cam.
Thanks to Elisa for being chilled with me filming, the legendary Driver at the wheel who has been in a few other videos on UA-cam.
And for those of you who are wanting to see some footage of the Superior Pak, Well I went back the week after and got it on film, so look out for that footage in the future.

@@BassCoast_Garbo912 Yeah about time someone finally filmed them. It was just how he was operating, wasn’t used to it as he’s normally in the Spak, the week after when I got it on green they were closing like normal. Cheers.

Yeah I quite like them, the XTREME bodys are cool, not many trucks have them and they weren't produced for very long. Just need to get the recycle now...

@@will823 nope. Only brought 4 side arms, alongside 4 rear loaders. A further 6 Dennis rear loaders arrived in 2019.
