Made mine from cherry blanks that were 24" in length. (On sale somewhere, don't remember.) Made about 15 of them maybe 8 years ago for a Christmas bazaar and sold out within the first 3 hours. Have not been able to get decent blanks since but people "still" ask. Great job, Tim.
Excellent piece of work Tim. Olive wood it so beautiful. I expect you wife loves the rolling pin. Your comment, "one more cut", is usually followed by "Oh #@%$". You got lucky this time. 🤗 Thank you for sharing. Have a great day and stay safe.🙂🙂
According to Facebook, I must congratulate you on your 66th successful orbit around our local star. On to 67 and many more! BTW all cake and Ice Cream calories are negated for the next 24 hours... as I write it is 15 minutes after 1 eastern time.
Nice piece of work. I caught the length of the parallel centre portion but I didn't notice what the overall length of the rolling pin is. Can you clarify, or is it not too critical?
One of my favorite woods to turn! Problem is finding blanks larger than pen blanks. Any clue who may carry larger olive wood blanks? I might have. To follow you and trade my Stubby in for the American Beauty…

I got an OK spindoctor steady rest. Used it one time, called Brent and got another banjo. Those big steady rests are heavy beasts.
Beautiful work!
Thanks Tim, the rolling pin looks great. Would you happen to recall where you got the blank for this?
Always love your projects and videos.
Stay well.
Wow!!! You're really tackling complicated projects. Busting out the center steady for it too.
Love it 😁 what a great idea 😊💙
Very nice thanks for the lessons

That's a great skew project (assuming you can use a skew)...
If you can't, then this is a great project to practice on.
Do you know of any where in New Zealand that sells robust lathes?
Is she going to make you some cookies and/or pies now that you made this?
Bill
What is the final length of the rolling pin
Brent should have included a second banjo.
Why? Tim is an authorized dealer. I'm sure he can get a very good price if he wants to buy one.
