Also, the way he sells after hitting the frog splash, showing the effects on both the opponent and himself, makes me appreciate the finisher more. One of the few who can show that in the ring greatly. Eddie Guerrero and Hiroshi Tanahashi are also other wrestlers that had great frog splashes.

Me and one of the friends were always the hardys if we were on a tag team cause we would always do swanton bombs off the roof onto the trampoline. When we wrestled 1 v 1 we all called our other friend RVD because the only move he ever did was a Frog splash😂
The Van Termintor was raw too , when he was in ecw he take dives from the turn buckle into the crowd , dude would take a whole steel chair and do a missile dropkick from one turn buckle to the next , he was super entertaining to watch when he wrestled especially in those days

Eddie's frogsplash was so textbook and clean to watch, and RVD's was such an impressive high impact leap. Both seem to have become the go-to molds that most current wrestlers use.
Rvd is a little tank, that frog slash was everything, stong , athletic, esthetic, fast, dramatic and hard to duplicate. It stands alone like the f5, petey Williams Canadian destroyer , bradshaws clothes line, kanes chokeslam ect..other people use the move but one guy is the best at it.
