What I love about this theme for Superman is that it starts out small and humble. Then it builds. It becomes more clear and certain, just like Clark when he becomes more sure of himself and what he can do with his abilities. The original Superman theme by John Williams will always have that heroic feel to it and of course its iconic status. Man of steel is an under rated movie. I liked how they left most of the action for the end instead of constantly seeing explosions and buildings toppling like in most action films. The movie made me feel like I got to know Clark and feel some of his struggles with being different and constantly having to restrain himself and his abilities like most of us do so that we don't intimidate others and just fit in. Zack Snyder was seriously trying to bring us something inspirational with those speeches both his fathers gave . I agree that batman v superman and justice league could have been better but their not that bad and I must say that I'm glad they chose Hans Zimmer for the epic music that made those movies.✌
Thank you for saying this. The whole origin story was well done. It was amazinf and better than any other superman movie. It reminded me a lot of small ville. I still think it’s the best Super Man movie and one of the best DC movies out there.
Though I'm not the biggest Superman fan It's like you can hear the whole Superman thematic in this song. Its starts out as a peaceful ordinary farmboy's life, starts doing good deeds because he knows he can, but you can still feel the struggle that Clark is trying to figure out who he is. Then at 03:13 the tones changes so it feels like when people started to fear him for his powers. And lastly at 04:20 Clark truly embraces himself, holds his head up high and face the world like the true hero that he is. Absolute masterpiece.
Simple "boy to manhood" process..It happens to all of us. But most of us are affraid to show our real power, because of education. Though it is necessary to keep an equilibrium in society...hmmm...

I think most people just see the two main issues this movie had, namely being the forced romance between Lois and Clark, and the distasteful death of Papa Kent (I don't count Clark snapping Zod's neck because it was actually one of the best parts of the movie). Sure, we didn't see the boy scout we're used to seeing, we saw a *real* Superman. All Clark wanted was to be a human, a man. And by taking the life of who he knew was the last Kryptonian, in order to save a species that feared him, he showed just how human he was.
Wyman and Brad true, I just mentioned that because it bothers me how much people DON'T know him, even though he's done a countless amount of movies, especially for this and the last generation's childhood, including The Lion King, Prince Of Egypt, and Madagascar.
Everything, every single thing was brilliant about Man of Steel. The best soundtrack, the best visuals, the best CGI and the best trailer. Not to forget to mention Henry Cavill though, the best superman after Christopher Reeves :)
I’d say that marvel is pretty good. Basically the Star Wars saga of new (discounting the literal new Star Wars movies). DC is just slow on its production, since its forte isn’t exactly *movies*. Marvel gambled A LOT for their cinematic universe cuz it’s not (or wasn’t) as well known. Thankfully with endgame, ending their era, I can be excited for more of Cavill’s Superman. I liked endgame a lot. With that said nothing will ever beat my Love of MoS. Except a possible Sequel.
To those of you who don’t play piano … you have no idea how impressive this guy is. He makes it look so effortless, but I promise this has to take years of hard work and practice. And he arranges it on his own. Respect ✊
Well if you listen, Sedrik, you'll notice that the highlighted notes represent the melody and that they have more of an accent and by that I mean are played louder than the other notes (roughly speaking). This is what Bach pioneered.
No the volume of the key depends on how hard you push down so softly pushing down on all the other notes while pushing down hard on all the highlighted notes creates that separated accent.

Honestly, this piece is my favorite thing--and possibly the best thing--to come out of the DCEU. Thanks for doing this piano version. For some reason, it's how I hear it in my head, so to hear it out loud is very moving.
3 years later and i still come back just to view and hear your version. It's trully the best one on youtube from start to finish that sticks/feels truest to original score, With all the moving emotional sections.

I don't remember the movie but this music makes me wanna watch it again. It's a masterpiece of composition and absolutely perfect arrangement. I guess the best Patric's arrangement that perfectly suits with piano.
In the movie theater where i live theres a piano in the main lobby. Its a large open dome and the acoustics are amazing. I studied this video for over a year and then one night i finally got the guts to walk out to the piano and play this song.
Man of steel bgm is underrated , people always cheer and hype up and say wonder women's theme is the best . Since it's explosive , catchy and badass . But I would say man of steel bgm does have something which lots of famous tracks doesn't have , it's godly , how would we feel if god shows himself to us , thats what I feel while listening to mos .
Man of Steel is an incredible movie that never gets old. Its only failure is that it was released during a period of time when the superhero movies were supposed to be comical and colorful. If it released during TDK era it would have been a billion dollar movie.

I just listened to him without his hands and got the vibe of an ochestra.
Honestly, this piece is my favorite thing--and possibly the best thing--to come out of the DCEU. Thanks for doing this piano version. For some reason, it's how I hear it in my head, so to hear it out loud is very moving.
I've been here since the interstellar theme keep up the good vids
A fantastic score rivaling the old John Williams theme. This newer one is legit. Nice job
3:15-3:36 Gave me chills
3 years later and i still come back just to view and hear your version. It's trully the best one on youtube from start to finish that sticks/feels truest to original score, With all the moving emotional sections.
2:30 omg and also from 0:00 to 5:44 WAS PHENOMENAL still to this day. 03.18.2019
What after 3.18.2019
_ Abdu yeah no idea Why he dated it haha
I've always wondered how there's a melody within all those different notes. I just noticed that the accented notes are actually glowing. Enlightening...
Seeing and hearing this composition transcribed to piano really shows you how beautiful movie music can be. Hans Zimmer is a genius.
when I watched the movie I was filled with emotions. Especially hapiness in the incredible ending of man of steel.
I love this sound track.
thank you Patrik.
This is so epic
I don't remember the movie but this music makes me wanna watch it again. It's a masterpiece of composition and absolutely perfect arrangement. I guess the best Patric's arrangement that perfectly suits with piano.
Hans Zimmer at the get go of yet another masterpiece. An emotional cluster, nevertheless engulfing taste of valor in the midst. What an endeavour.
In the movie theater where i live theres a piano in the main lobby. Its a large open dome and the acoustics are amazing. I studied this video for over a year and then one night i finally got the guts to walk out to the piano and play this song.
1:36 is 👌😎
geez, these two floating hands are really good!!!
30 seconds in and people are already saying: “Awesome bro”
That a good thing or a bad thing?
GeX223 LOL
GeX223 my fucking mother left me.
They know it’s going to be... Also my dude you are a living sponge, I sincerely doubt you ever even had a mom.
Well, that's fucking intense!
Those first 50 seconds are so magical.
Man of Steel is an incredible movie that never gets old. Its only failure is that it was released during a period of time when the superhero movies were supposed to be comical and colorful. If it released during TDK era it would have been a billion dollar movie.
I love this theme it’s so sad but heroic, it sorta emphasis that superman is still just a man doing the best he can often being judged and unappreciated for it. I only started watching DC films recently but I’ve gotta say Man of Steel was amazing for me
Superman is literally a misnomer
Man ur comment brightened my day....
Thank you so much for this arrangement- I really needed to hear it tonight. An ideal of hope. There’s beauty in chaos and pain. This is my world.
Best cover yet. Nothing I've heard compares. Flawless!
In the last when he played "If you love these people" that was so epiccc mann...
Absolutely incredible! This song and the final song on the soundtrack are the most moving "What Are You Going to Do When You Are Not Saving the World?". Thank you for you moving rendition!
the beginning is so epic
truth
Its humble yet epic
This piece is absolutely magnificent. I bought the piano sheet music a long time ago and I'm still learning it till this day. It's a very impressive piece, even though some parts of it are so hard it doesn't seem like it fits the piano. Incredible and underrated playing!
How long have you been playing it? I think I might upload my attempt at this cover with one take and try to get it as flawless as possible within the next month. So far this piece has taken me almost 3 months, it should be done by the 4th I hope.
@@ViruGurudath I can’t remember when I started it last, but it was quite a while ago. The hard part for me is all the fast notes and the crazy timing, but you’re most likely to get it down better than me. I’m not a master piano player, let’s just say that 😂 That is to say, it was a fun piece to try to learn. Tell me how it goes!
bro what i did was i slowed the video down to 0.25x and just learnt that way, took me a month to properly learn it and i can play it fluently now
@@davonheria739 Yeah that’s a what I tried too! I got most of it down, I’m just not very good at scales. When did you start learning it? And I assume you can play it from memory?
@@RMLOTRJDCMClaL I’d say I’m getting close to a perfect run. I’ve almost memorised the entire thing as of now. Maybe in a month I’ll be done for good?
*My favorite start in **2:25*
This gives me chills. I basically watch this every day
You are the only one who did it with the correct tempo and signature Hans Zimmer style
PLEASE upload those musics on spotify ...
Cléo Marques Yeah and he already has an account he uploaded music on
yessss plss
1:51 is like hey, I can do this
1:53 is like haha just kidding I SAID I WAS KIDDING
It sounds so beautiful and looks pretty easy
the build up & then at 0:55 GOOSEBUMPS 👏👏👏
He makes this looks so easy, it literally took me 3 months to get his arrangement of this soundtrack up to TEMPO!!!
Blessing to my ears 🤞🏼❤
