Alistair is a wonderful actor. Seeing his character arc in Sex Education was a journey. I dont think I have ever before or since been this invested in a character's well-being
One of the most fascinating performances in The Terror. Have rewatched the series about 4 times now and his final scene still haunts me
Alistair Petrie and Connor Swindells were the best part of "Sex Education", what a journey those 2 took. The bit about how his dad would have told Alistair to "let him go" if he knew how much care was costing, sounds like my Dad.
Alistair did very well in diplomatically negotiating not only Rob's shortbread abomination of a Scottish accent, but his general shenanigans in this interview. Also, he's a fine actor.
First saw Alistair on TV back in the 90s with Jonathan Creek
i think playings Mags from the back is pure Stae Wars, BoBa was also an imperial soldier lol
He was a great villain in Pack Of Lies. Not mentioned?
Ye're right Rob y, ye canna dee an Aberdeen accent.
Aberdeen is a really odd Scots accent. You could sit it in Dublin and no-one would notice! 😊
I'm from Dublin. Interestingly; no. Also, as an interesting aside; no.
I hoped Alistair would correct Rob.....its not Pet ree. Its Peet ree....a Dundee and Aberdeenshire name
Just watched that Poirot before I let Brit Box go! (Honestly, Britain’s population would be under a thousand people if there were really that many murders) Would’ve been fun if he’d been shown as one of the students!
I've listened to almost every episode of this podcast but the last three are very difficult to get into because of the constant interruptions of Rob Brydon.
Sorry, I can't.
Rob it is time for a new Trip!
