I have always wanted to do ballet but when I took my first ballet class at age 6, I was bullied because I was so little and chubby. So, little me back then thought that ballet isn't for someone like me. Now, I am in my 30's and I love watching your videos and you are so beautiful and inspiring!!! You make me want to learn ballet again! I love how ballet helps with building core strength and back muscles. I just want you to know that you are AMAZING

I'm always so impressed with ballerinas, so in addition to dancing, they also have to be their own makeup artists and hairdressers....where do you guys learn all this? Are they taught during ballet school? What happens if someone's not great with makeup ? :D By the way, THANK YOU so much for sharing with us, Tirion. Most dancers learn during school, my studio would send tutorials on how to do the hair and makeup. Also stage makeup doesnt necessarily have to look good up close. The purpose of stage makeup is to accentuate your features so that even the people in the back row can see your face, so often times it looks jarring up close

A gorgeous performance as always. If I lived in Canada I would definitely come watch in person. My Mom's side of the family actually immigrated to Canada from Belgium. We still have family there. Her Grandfather immigrated with his family to Florida where they helped establish the city of Coral Gables. He also had an estate in Hendersonville North Carolina where they had a farm and raised most of the food for their family. I never got to see it as they sold it after he passed away. I live in a different area in NC.
